What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

Try to cut out the white bread or the late night carb up at first. Either one will help you out, obviously the earlier you can cut carbs the better. Just make slow and subtle changes and you will start to see the effects before you know it. I used to just cut carbs cold turkey and I would trim up fast but then after awhile I was always starving and would just cheat and blow it all out of the water. Small changes that you can stick with and consistency will give you better long term results so you don't set unrealistic goals and just bounce up and down. I'm pretty well into my cut now and it's not the easy days that pay off, it's the hard days when I stick to my guns that make me see the changes. Good luck man
 
my hardest thing, is not consuming a but load of carbs before bed. i get hungry like a mofuka after dinner, and almost always surcumb to a boal of cereal, with almond silk milk lo fat kind.



Im with ya on this one tileguy , I get a terrible cravin for carbs before bed ; usually I have a peppermint or two and it goes away (15 cals a piece). The peppermints are better than a pint of ice cream (400+cal) ~Ogh
 
yup ice cream cravings like a mother here too at night. cereal. string cheese. bullshit like that. im gunna try to trade out the white bread sando's for healthy lunches, and ditch the late night carbs. i basically have a 6 pak but by evenings its more like a tortise shell. i hate it

best thing for late night cravings is cottage cheese IMO. the fat is filling and you get slow digesting protien while you sleep, if you need to add some stevia or a bit of fruit it

Thanks Tango - Ogh"ism ?? Hmm , I dont think Im worthy of starting my own religion or dialect but yes I would consider a book deal , lol. And a cookie deal for the Mrs.....;)

Theres alot of us guys here over 40/50 that have tons of tips & experience if you'll listen to them . Im just one of many....~Ogh
 
dinner 6oz chicken breast baked and pre seasoned rub, with a lil A1 on the side, and 1 cup pinto beans, w/ handful of steamers aspargus.. just drank 12 oz black coffee one hour latter, hopefully ward off hunger for the night..
 
now that I'm a testosterone filled fire breathing dragon:mad: I decided to go beast mode on breakfast

1cup egg whites
1 1/2cup oatmeal
pb& banana sandwich on ezekiel
20g whey isolate

off to murder chest & shoulders..

OGH extremely hard to cut when the heart is not in it. I completely feel you on this. Started Keto this week struggling.

10 oz sirloin 4 eggs for dinner

Pre bed casein shake here in a bit.



Im just taking a "Cut-Break" , I needed to get my head right and tired of starving . I'll get back on the horse in a few weeks .....

Eggs w/ bacon & biscuits & gravy + orange juice this morning !! Cant wait ~Ogh
