What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

Well , funny how things change .....got a neighbor that wants to be a BB , wants to look like Ogh, lol . And wants to Keto-diet . So I dug up my Dave Palumbo keto diet that worked so well a couple of years ago and am going to Keto for a while . Hes gonna pay for all my protein mix and pay for some expensive food so Im game .

So Ketoing it for a while....go to Bodybuilding.com and punch-in : "Outline of Dave Palumbo's Diet for Cutting" if you want to follow .....its very tough but very effective for cutting ....

This mornings meal : 4 whole eggs + 4 egg whites + coffee (thats it) ~Ogh

Good luck with that!!! I'll follow along and potentially even join you. I need to cut 3-4% bf myself.

Today so far.. banana and coffee

According to Palumbo , any more than 2 cups of coffee a day raises cortisol levels , making it hard to keep muscle while keto'ing ....so 2 cups of java is now my limit (this will be hard for a caffiene freak like myself) ~Ogh

Man I just read that and it immediately turned me off. I'm a caffeine junkie. I have an Iced americano every day (3 shots of espresso with water) and idea tea all day.

I'll have to think this one through, but I need to cut down my caffeine intake anyway

Man , it took everything I had to choke down all those eggs , I made myself sick of eggs last year and still havent gotten over it . Time to summon all my inner strength for this diet . Got to tell myself it will all be worth it when the pics and the mirror show a cut body ....and it is worth it . Off to town to get supplies (more eggs & nuts) ~Ogh

I'm an iced tea guy too(unsweetened w/lemon). I must drink at least 2 gallons a day. I'm out!

Damn those Omega-3 eggs are spendy ($4-doz), Ive got a few hens but they havent been producing steadily so Im buying eggs and this diet puts Omega-3 eggs in big letters as very important . Nuts were spendy too , $12lb at Fred Meyers for raw cashews and walnuts , unsalted .

I feel good about this diet , I gotta get "Bob" in shape and in turn this will help me buff out . 8 hrs in , no carb cravings ....~Ogh

Anybody supp any greens like this
http://www.livingfuel.com/product/livingfuel-supergreens/
Any benefit?
Sounds good but a little pricey.

That rabbit food is good for you , especially the Spirulina . I gotta couple old aunts down south that love that spirulina , there in their late 70"s and drink it everyday for 30 years I know of ....and neither have eye-glasses or false teeth . Good skin too ....~Ogh

Day one of the Keto diet finds lunch to be 8oz chicken and 4oz cashews ....not bad ~Ogh

OK - that turned out to be too much food ; I should have had 6oz chicken and 2oz cashews . Next time .

Just had another shake . 3 whey shakes a day w/ 1 tbsp natural peanut butter each . Your trying to stay under 45gms carbs a day . ~Ogh

Elliot Hulse was pushing this on one of his YouTube vids.
Thanks for the input maybe I'll give it a run.

Is that 8 oz. weighed cooked or uncooked OGH?

Hey OS - ALL my measurements are in cooked form . I weigh and eat . Yes it should have been 6oz meat & 2 oz nuts . Anyhow I lost a lb since yesterday so "smooth sailing" from here on out (love that song)

This morning its 4wo/4wi eggs again (4whole/4white) +coffee. I made it thru yesterday on 2 cups of coffee !!, and I did sleep better .....~Ogh

breakfast, was 2 packs of quaker protien oats w banna and walnut.

lifted. post work out shake

lunch was, 8oz chicken breast, cup n half of brown instant rice, cup of pinto /blk beans mixed, some steamer mixed veggies, and a side of bbq sauce.

dropped sandwhiches from my reg lunch routine to x out the 4 slices of daily bread.

Meal tip: cut up your meat into bite sized chunks and then divide your meals up and store them in sandwich bags. When it is time to eat toss one of the bags in the microwave then pour the meal out on a plate or in a bowl and eat. No Tupperware! I learned this trick over the weekend when prepping meals for a fishing trip. I stored all of my meals in sandwich bags and just eat them cold. This week at work I continued to put them into sandwich bags then just throwing them into microwave. Works great and keeps food moist!
