What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

What do you all do when it's starting to get late and you still need 1300 calores
Create a meal plan brother and stick to it. Eating 1300 cals before bed (no activity) is not good. Some will definitely convert to fat.

When I first started learning about nutrition I started with "if it fits your macros" and would just track all cals on myfitnesspal. The problem is some days I would overeat and starve at night then some days I would undereat and stuff myself at night. Both not good. Ended up gaining a lot of fat on that approach.

Now all meals are planned and macros are split evenly and I am making much better progress. Don't even track calories, just macros and adjust when needed.

Make sure you eat 2x your bodyweight in grams of protein and set a daily number for your carbs. Adjust after two weeks when you know if it is enough or not enough.

Yah I mostly had a plan but time got away from me. I ended up scarfing down 4 Tbsp of all natty peanut butter and some rice. Waited a little bit then went to the gym. Just
Got back made a protein shake and I'm gonna call it good.

It's far from perfect but better than coming up 1300/3000 calories short

So I can eat whatever I want right. Well guess what walked out of the house with out my wallet and all I have at the office is a stupid bag of almonds. Now there is a fridge in the kitchen and I am an owner so does that make the food in there mine? I will just eat these almonds until I have the time to run home but I live a half hour away.

You look great JB - got me beat in the arms department . Thick delts too . And that South Beach tan ,lol. You need to start planning your stage presence , getting your posing routine down . No doubt . Thanks . ~Ogh

Im trying to lean bulk, but Im having problems surprisingly getting enough fat. Is incorporating peanut butter (the good stuff, all natural) ok to do? Will it make me fat rather than lean?

That looks good . Did you figure out your daily calorie requirements and add 500 to it ? ~Ogh
I did, and with this diet, I'm actually kinda over doing it by a little, but I figure it's pretty clean, so no harm done... I was doing the eat everything in site diet for a while because I have such a high metabolism and I was really concerned about mass, but I was getting a little too "puffy", so I decided to be patient, alter the diet and go for slower cleaner gains..

I actually think raw nuts beats out PB , try almonds , pecans & walnuts . More Omega-3 oil than PB and less calories . Also extra virgin olive oil and coconut oil are the best "good oils"......go to Vitacost.com and check-out their coconut oils , fairly cheap and you can use it like butter . I add some to my shakes too . I love the stuff . ~Ogh

PS - The only thing that will make you fat is an overindulgence of calories . 500 over maintance is good , 700-900 over is fat . Theres a fine line there.....
