OGH- I am currently right around 2,500 but with the carb cycling plan I am laying out I would be sitting around 2,600 on high carb day and 2,100 on low carb day.

Well boys today wasn't the best eating but I did pretty good.
Breakfast- oats, honey, banana and protein powder
Went to lunch with my entire fam today to celebrate a birthday. Ended up at Olive Garden, got the chicken breast in soup Chicken Abuzzil (something like that) it was not bad aside from the sodium.
Hit the gym before dinner for some chest, shoulders and tri's. After dinner was a great steak, green beans and rice. A little sorbet after dinner and a bowl of
Cottage cheese and honey post bedtime
All in all, I was close to my macros (lil heavy of fat) and 2800 calories, still need to bump those up into the 3000 range reliably.
OS - I made it about 30 mins into the video, going to watch some more now, thanks man!
OGH - I also use myfitnesspal to track everything, been using it about 2 months now and I love it
Weighing 163.4 this morning after low carb yesterday. Looks like I am on the right track with this approach then, thank you for your help OGH!Good early morning - Thats about what I take in , as I recall we are both about the same weight (160-170lbs) - 2700 on high days / 2000 on low days . Yours is probably more correct .....
Since my keto departure Ive been filling-up and slightly filling out . I need it , my Alaska job finally came thru and I need to be at my strongest for this , no weak ass keto-puss. (keto-puss,lol)
Im on the high side of 170lbs , probably where I need to be right now . ~Ogh
Ive been at 30g carbs all week, 6 eggo waffles for breakfast this morning, need I say more?
Gotta have em, life's no fun if you deny yourself all guilty pleasuresLunch (def a cheat)
Cheeseburger
1/2 my sons hotdog
4oz chicken Breast as soon as I got home (as if that makes it better!!lol)
after 6 days it starts to really play with my mood/mind/energy (in a pretty negative way). Ive seen you talk about cycling carbs, what is your layout like - from reading back it looks like carb up on train days, is this about right? Im still chiseling away at the bf% - this is undoubtedly my focus. Ive been keeping the protien at almost 2g:1lb bodyweight, carbs all week at about 30-40g total and 100-130g fat. This is the only way I seem to keep making progress/gains and bringing down the body fat, but ive got to tell you those plates feel like lead instead of iron some days with out the carbs...
Nothing like that MT (mirror time) when you've got it all lined up!I just had to add.....did some mirror posing just now and Im poppin , I had to pull myself away from the mirror , yah boy !! Isnt vanity grand ?? ~Ogh
OGH-will you still be able to check in here at MESO while you are in the bush?Hey OS - yes Alaska is quite beautiful (and dangerous) . Im a camp cook (referred to as a bush cook) which means I cook 4-6 meals a day for a construction crew out in the bush , and when Im not cooking Im part of the construction team (frame, concrete, paint, etc)
I did this 2 yrs ago and it should be about the same this time around , same crew . I'll be about 300 miles from Anchorage where my parents also live so I'll be stopping off there when Im done in the bush .
Stocking up on gear before the leave and there probably wont be any weights out there like last time so I get to go all Rocky 4 and lift logs, rocks and lots of dips and pull-ups . Its all good , should be a challenge ....~Ogh
