Its a spanish seasoning- they sell the good stuff frozen and the shitty stuff in a can. Peppers, onions, garlic, cilantro- blood of a spanish virgin maybe- good stuff and you can't make rice and beans without it.

Here's the next 10 days worth of chicken, each bag cooks out to 1.5lbs. Bag a day. This is what I was doing when you posted - grinding chicken breast...
It may not be good with elk, but what I do to the chicken is sprinkle it with Ortega taco seasoning once its in the pan. Its the lowest sodium flavoring besides Old Bay that I can find. Old bay only really works on fish for me. Put a scoop of sour cream in with it and it turns into a stroganoff type dish.

I cant wait for bow season, if all goes as planned I will be headed west and looking to you for pointers on how to hunt elk with a bow OGS, i've only ever hunted whitetail from the trees.
So after you grind it you pan fry it with the seasoning? then do you add any carbs with it?

This is obviously more suited for me and my training/eating/supplementation. Looks like some cold guys in this thread so wanted to jump in board. On a cut and cycling carbs. Loaded up yesterday so back to the grind today.

3 eggs and spinach.

Headed to the meat market for grass fed beef,some bison and some free range chicken now. Glad to be in on this.

I notice sweebeanz is always having pretty awesome meals!!! Not me I eat like caveman, very basic and straight forward
Haha not all the time gr8whitetrukker. .but I'm also a stay at home dad, so I gotta be creative. Mac and cheese and fish sticks for the kids doesn't cut it for me so much. But I enjoy cooking and making weird stuff sometimes!
 
Well guys, hunting has been tough for me so far. I have a vendetta with a 300 + bull and he is very smart! On a side note though I got my Dad into some Elk and he finaly shot his firts one. 600lb.+ cow. You cant eat the horns right brothers (thats is what I tell him to make him feel better)? HE so wanted a bull but this cow was just so stupid and easy, so he shot her. She walked 10 yards, did the back and forth, then dropped. only a 1/4 mile pack to the truck. My dad and I split all of our elk/deer so after stopping by the butcher in the morning I will have half an elk in my freezer. Now thats free fange, grass fed better than beef FUEL! I will be eating good for a while brothers! Now when I kill my 7-800lb. monster then we will really have full freezers.
 
Yesterday after breakfast I had

6oz b/s chicken thigh with okra

6oz b/s chicken breast wrapped in a price of bacon with asparagus

Cup of fage plain Greek with Protein powder and almonds mixed in.


This morning a big ass cup of coffee with grass fed butter and coc oil with 4 eggs and spinach.


I was so sick of chicken but bought free range organic yesterday, it's like a whole different meat compared to frozen bag stuff. Won't be going back to the frozen.

Man I know all about being sick of chicken, how is the organic different - im truly interested! The only thing that ever kept me from even trying it is the price. I'm ok with frozen costco chicken because I grind it all and freeze it, then cook and flavor accordingly.
