This might be a naive question, but why PM new members that you don't even know to "help" with "good sources" as opposed to at least sharing positive experiences backed by bloodwork or labmax with other WKM's that could vet it out before bringing it to the board, if you're that concerned with publicly throwing support??

I don't have a problem with anyone helping out and not wanting it publicly known. I do have a problem if you are contacting members trying to source and not making it public.

Hell I didn't even know about a few Vets on this board sourcing for years until I asked for some help years ago. Then and only then did they tell me they could help out. Again they never contacted me or members. I do not have a problem with this at all.

Just seems a little strange. If you wanna source let some trusted people know that you want to source. Do NOT go soliciting in private in my opinion.

If you are making first contact, AND you are being compensated for any sales you bring to the source, then you are basically advertising for the source!

You can try to dress it up as just trying to help, you can call it your reward for the time you have spent here, but bottom line is you are in business with that source. You are a salesman representing that source.

I really was impressed and the legitimacy of everything voiced really made me take a look at how a member contributes to the community. The quality of the input and well as contributions past, and present, will really determine my respect or lack thereof for a member in particular.

We are in complete agreement. I too learned things when I reached out- but there are infinite differences between that and solicitation. .. whether you are soliciting for the source or you are the source.

Anybody remember when SF first came here? The original rep was Sworder, before Stretch. Sworder never out right admitted he was the SF rep until Stretch exposed his PM's that admitted to getting a piece of each sale. Yes, he contacted members and solicited sales for SF. And to boot, after that was putting up reviews for new labs that gave him free gear. Anything happen to Sworder? Nope. Just throwing this out there. with your real names, then this board is all we have to go by.

I have been an active member for over 10yrs here, and even
if all my posts were about Pussy, it still shows I was active during that time.

Too many people have started new accounts and post helpful
information too much and too fast, just to build up that rep, so
they then can fuck people..

I use 1 account, and I don't trust all these
new guys joining around the same time backing each other.. Suspicious ..

You don't have to be on this board long to be a Vet, but
you have to be around somewhere for long enough..
