Who is our biggest, most shredded member at Meso?

In the beginning, I could not lay on my back at all. I’d have a severe shortness of breath when I did. Waking up a flight of stairs about killed me. I’d be hugging the wall when I got to the top. Couldn’t walk any distance at all without giving out of breath.

Yep that was me...hopefully you dont need heart surgery like I did . But if you do life goes on and I made my best gains after I had heart surgery . I wish you all the best @rutman and @Oldschool please get checked out....;)

I thought I had a blockage, but I had a heart cath done when I was in the hospital and my arteries were totally clear. I don’t believe surgery is in my cards, but whatever it takes to live, we gotta do it. Thanks OGH [emoji120]

LVH is closely related to AAS use through the androgenic nature of the hormones we use. But also obese people who dont train and definitely never use AAS also develop LVH. The primary method for reversing the enlargement? Weight loss as you mentioned.

But for the sake of our interests here at MESO what effect does time off have on the enlargement? Or are we talking semi permanent to permanent?
It's reversible to some degree following discontinuation. Sorry I don't have cites but I think you can find some references in Scally's thread.

As far as weight loss is concerned, don't think it only applies to obese people. Higher bodyweights, whether it's due to obesity from a sedentary lifestyle or due to extra muscle from a bodybuilding lifestyle, influences cardiovascular issues such as hypertension and LVH. So yeah, weight loss is definitely applicable to the interests of MESO members as well.

Of course, not many MESO members want to purposely give up the muscle gains they've accumulated over the years, and even decades. At least not everything. I sure don't.

Personally, I've tried to incorporate activities into my lifestyle that will improve cardiopulmonary efficiency. I've come to enjoy cycling as a way to accomplish this. I find the bodybuilding mindset translates very well to this pursuit.

Great job!

that’s crazy your gym is empty. Mine has been way busier now than even before the shut down it’s been packed

Thanks!

I actually have two gyms. One being lifetime athletic and the other is a small local gym thats pictured. The local gym is over priced for what it is and never had more than 20 members in there at a time before the virus. Here lately if I hit the local one around lunch time it’s just a very small handful of us in there. Lifetime is packed no matter what time I go.

yea my buddy goes to a lifetime fitness he said the same always busy. The one I joined just opened before the lock down it’s a wanna be lifetime but not as nice and half the price. Keep up the hard work. I totally respect it

I know I dont post much. But here I am all natural cept for TRT. Hope to start up a tren cycle in August but I promised myself I wouldnt do that until i dropped below 215 so i guess it's more dependent on the weight than the calendar.Screenshot_20200707-181551_Gallery.jpg

Lockdown me....lockdown may be lifted for me soon (I'm in Ontario Canada, one of the few remaining lockdown areas).

I'm not the biggest, but I try to maintain my shreddies.

Hey brother no shade intended but what's up with your knee? Is it just a funky camera thing or did you do some damage at some point in the past?

I noticed and was curious about that too.

Sorry to disappoint but no good story behind the illusion of awkwardly molded knees. Never had any knee injuries but what you're seeing is just my vastus medialis which has a tendency to ball up right at the insertion point near my kneecap.

Add a little muscle (and I stress little) with some downlighting and a slightly hyper extended knee and it looks like there's a weird knee deformity going on. Just an illusion. I have no cool knee injury story to tell.

Fun side note, I've grown accustomed to people noticing as you guys aren't the first who've mentioned ma knees.
