Why there almost certainly is No God!!

I think a lot of you just take the easy way out on this one. Since it can't be proved how could it be? Well this was the discussion that my philosophy of religion course hotly debated for a month. As a Christian I can't prove to a non-believer that there is a God. But you can't prove to me there isn't. And I read through all of these and the word Faith was rarely mentioned. There is "something" greater then us. What you choose to call it is your choice. I choose God. It has already been proven many, many times over that Jesus existed. To doubt that is stupidity. Whether you believe he's the Savior and son of God is your choice. And Dr Scally the lack of college aged students choosing or not choosing to put a religion down on applications is simple. They are not exposed to religion. Parents don't take their children to church or don't expose them at all to organized religion. Does going to mass make you more religious then one who doesn't attend mass but still believes? No. Church is a building. A gathering of other like minded individuals to praise God. Do none of you believe the downfall of this country has nothing to do with God. We have taken Him out of our schools, we have let society disrespect everything He stands for. I'm sorry but science is far from absolute and only a fool would think otherwise. It comes down to faith. You do or don't have it. I am proud to say I do. There is no fukin scientific explanation to explain my escaping death from moments I should not have walked away from. There is the hand of God. And I truly feel sorry for those who close their eyes to miracles. How can a doctor explain a bed ridden cancer patient given one month to live miraculously pulls through. You can't prove it. There is a higher power at work. That is God to me.

I viewed both videos you posted and actually found the first one comical. Once someone calls God a dick you lose all validity and respect from me. Anything you say is irrelevant. We all know there is evil in the world. I don't dispute that. But why is it God?? We have genetically mutated human and animal genetics. We put toxic hormones in food, we have nuclear reactors around the world. God didn't do that. I have atrial flutter, a fib, dialated cardiomyopathy, lupus, and a blood clotting disorder. I never have once blamed or cursed God for my medical issues. Bad things happen. And if he blames God for bad things he must praise Him for the good then. As far as not understanding atheism, that's bullshit. My brother is a non believer and we were brought up under the same roof under the same Christian beliefs. I don't yell or try to "convert" an atheist. I don't agree with my brothers views but I don't dislike him because of it. God created this world and said here you go. Man has brought his own pain upon himself by repeatedly going against Gods wishes. His love for us is unconditional. And to blame Him for sickness as the first man did shows a huge lack of Christian knowledge and teachings of the Bible. Yes there may be other Gods and I put that in my post. I said whatever you call the higher power. I'm not trying to convert anyone, whereas it seems your whole agenda is to belittle my God. Which I find hugely offensive. I am an educated man with a masters degree. While I may not be a doctor, there are many documentaries and studies that have been done proving that our planet could not have been a "random" accident. Astrophysicists, molecular biologists, and scientists alike have stated that the chances Earth could of randomly happened in order to support life is 99% impossible. We miraculously have perfect oxygen and carbon dioxide levels to survive. Temperature variations that support life, adequate water for survival. Minerals and gases in a harmonial state for our existence. The chances of all that happening by chance?? Bullshit. Whether you believe or not is unimportant to me. I'm not here to change your mind. But don't try and change mine. I don't post videos ripping atheists, and you go and post a video of someone calling God a dick. But I'm the one who got suspended from the site for telling someone I'd snap his neck. I would expect more from a Dr. I would rather you respond personally then just posting videos of info I already know exists. And you fail to respond to the biggest aspect of any religion. FAITH. You have it or don't. It is as simple as that. Humans want to complicate the issue, when it only comes down to 1 word. FAITH.

Obviously your not the sharpest knife in the drawer. And I'm not Jesus hence I'm not perfect. Like all Christians. I don't regret saying what I did just like I don't regret telling you to fun off. Your argument is no more valid then mine. I can't prove to you God exists, you can't prove to me he doesn't. Have a great time being an atheist. You mistook what I was saying. As a Christian we believe that praying to false idols other then God is a sin. I don't believe my God is better then another's. And someone who has faith in another power is just as valid as my beliefs. You posted the first intelligent question to me. I respect you for your beliefs no matter what they are.
