Oh I understand he was referring to the division. He is not there to unite but to divide, for who doesnt believe in his word, shall not be accepted into heaven. I fail to see the love in this. The whole idea is, if you're not for me youre against me. These poor people were not convinced of a charismatic preaching jew so they have to suffer for this? That's a terrible ultimatum. The Jews dont even believe in a hell, so imagine the the reaction of someone coming along saying this. It's literally blackmail and hostility. The sword he spoke of was division and it’s quite evident that he was foretelling the things to come. That division between households would come as a result in Jewish families as they rejected himwhilemothers accepted him as their messiah as well as other homes and families where family members would come to him and those who didn’t would reject those who do come. It happens all the time between religions. Not just Christianity. Muslim families kill those who leave Islam and embrace another religion. Jewish families have held funerals for those who depart from the faith and embrace Christ as their messiah.
Not gonna lie - the teachings of Christ are quite exclusive. So were left with the choice of accepting what he said and believing his words or rejecting them.
You're evading and bringing up a problem I'd obviously be against as well.Wait until the Muslims begin taking over the US numerically, as they’re already doing. Have a look at Europe - that’s our future. And soon, when they’re in the majority and enforcing Sharia law, you’ll see just what Islamic discrimination against atheists, gays, Jews and Christians looks like.
You're claim does not negate or discredit the problem atheists are having.
