Give me your digits

I've done 36 plates plus two 120lb ladies, one on each side for 8 reps. But to get more good size, you need to scale down, do more reps and longer negatives. Focus more on the pump and numbing out the pain.

Here we go boys be gentle.

Flat bench 315x1
Squats 385x4
Deadlifts 425x3
Barbell rows 225x6 with good form. I hate the dudes that stand at a 30 degree angle and do these.
Shoulder press- 205x3
Incline db press- 125x6
Weighted pull ups-45x8
I was 240 lbs @ 32% bf in 09. I'm in the midst of a 5 year transformation. I've stripped all the wY down to 150 and below 10% bf (pre aas) and I looked like a fucking marathon runner. Getting closer to my goals all the time, aesthetically coming together.

I'm past the lifting heavy. The injuries have really discouraged me going that route. Also my body responses better to higher reps(10-16 range). Also very short rests in between sets 10-15 seconds. 30 seconds if I'm switching a song on my playlist.

deadlift 225x20+ stopped using straps

Not too impressive. I just don't care too much anymore about the pr route for myself. Don't get me wrong though, I drool when I see others pushing heavy out of the ordinary weight. But I snap back to my senses and try to stay on course.

olrocko, nothing shabby bout dem numbers!
Dp, love the concept of your routine, should be ideal for your line of work incorporating strength and stamina.

Lately I feel like I am not as strong as I should be, or could be or whatever. Sure- injury, injury, injury blah blah blah. I am trying to get an idea of how accurate my body dismorphia and training inferiority complex is.

I really don't 1rm because i train alone and am sick of getting hurt but these are my latest heavy totals... these are not my pr's, but I am only interested in where people are today. My today numbers
Bench 365 x 3
Squat 385 x 5 (sad)
Dead 455 x 2 (and 1/2 :)
Barbell row 225 x 8
Military press 155 x 11 or so- I go easy on shoulders. They hurt.

How bad can you make me look?

I’ve been training for about 12 years with the last 2.5 years focusing only on heavy compound lifts. As far as PEDs, I have done SARMs, with as far as I could tell, little to no effect on my training. I have yet to run an AAS cycle but will do so very soon.

These are my current stats and lifts except for OHP--I haven’t performed that exercise since my shoulder surgery back in late 2012. Like most in this thread I have had injury impede my progress but by the end of the year, I’ll be back to my old PRs.

Stats:

Age: 35

H: 6’

W: 225

BF: 13%

Lifts:

Squat: 405-4x2 (A2G)

Bench: 295-4x2 (Paused)

Deadlift: 475-2x2 (Ugly)

Pendlay Row: 245-5x2 (Strict)

OHP: 185-4x3 (Strict)

Also, these lifts are preformed without a belt, knee sleeves, or knee wraps and are full range of motion.

squat: 525x5
deadlift: 475x5
bench: 285x8
ohp: 165x12
pull-ups: 12

I use a belt but no wraps. Working on getting to 315 for reps solo on the bench. I have never been able to do it solo.
I just got back to 475 x 1 on the deadlift sunday... I get extra reps with 315 when I am alone in my garage- because I have to or I get crushed! Sick numbers dude.

WTF..killin it

shoulder width, no sumo. it's bizarre, even to me, my squat and bench are mediocre at best, i kill some deadlifts.

vagina alert- i use straps.

Isn't it bizarre how deadlift is all over the place with body types. I can tell a good squatter fairly easily before he even pulls it out of the rack, but deadlift....i go in with no preconceived notions at all. I have seen fireplugs 5'8" 220 that couldn't dl for shit and i have seen 6'4" guys outdo me that look like i could pull their arms off.

I think my first sighting of a deadlift freak was when a guy at my gym nicknamed vampire pulled 455 for 8 conventionally. I think he might weigh 150 sopping wet at 6'4" and would likely not do well in a stiff breeze, but damn could he deadlift.

Ya I was a great deadlifter 12 years ago. I was 198 then and I routinely did 315x20.

Straight legged. Fucken stupid.I still ain't recovered from that one

I hate to hear "tall" guys like me wine and woe is me I cant squat cuz my legs are so longggggg! I don't buy that shit. Anyone ever pay attention to the annual WSM contest? Those monsters are all over 6'. Big Brian Shaw is 6'8 for god sakes! You will squat more...when you get stronger. What a concept.

My dad was a freak squatter. On one side of his pole barn he kept 490 always loaded. Go over work on his car and take a break squat, work, squat, work, squat. He never owned a membership always wore work boots and stood a freakish 6'4 265. No special bodybuilders diet, no supplements and he sure as hell didn't use AAS. just a fine example of genetics giving advantages

Damn, nice squat numbers DD. I'm hoping to get to 500 over the next year or so.

I agree. Every so often I see a skinny young kid pull a shit ton of weight with barely any warm up.

With all the world's strongest man competitors being over 6 foot that "i'm too tall" thing has kind of gone out the window. The kid from Colorado sure as hell doesn't seem bothered by it, at all.

I never thought being tall makes it harder for me (out loud) but I always thought shorter people worked harder at it because they were not as majestic vertically.

A gym buddy of mine is 6' 8" and has no problem hitting depth in the squat. Its definitely a long way down but it doesn't stop him from putting up some nice numbers.
