What Are You Training Today?

Visiting one of my commercial gyms today. The golfers elbow caused a lot of problems...couldn't even get 70 pounds off on chest dumbbell incline. Struggled on to a poor bench, and couldn't give a fuck by the time I did Tri extensions with a rope. Had some lahrevly squats with bar-only. Not good, need to kick it tomorrow

Use an elbow band...I have had the same issue and a band helped relieve the pressure on my elbow tendons.

I've had it 3 times, each lasted about 8 months.

Mine was caused by excessive pull-ups. Been struggling since March last year. My right arm is good again, but left one is causing issues. At least no impact on deads and squats, but push is a nightmare ...

Friday night, an empty gym, good music bumping in the headphones, feeling damn good. What more could you ask for? Enjoy the training and feel great about what you're doing! Have a great weekend Meso.

I'm gonna try chin-ups instead when it has healed, see if that prevents it from flaring back up again.

Anyhow, squats and deads today. Was smoking the squats 5by5 stylee, but realised after a few sets I had counted wrong and was pushing out squats 60 pounds lighter than anticipated. Ventured on to adding two more sets, totalled at 7 and focused on form, technique and speed.

Then DLs and oh my gollish did they come out fast, furious and with form, like cutting through Cold ice With warm piss. First two strapless (the sets, that is, not the piss), then straps the last 3, and added a belt the last two. I think there's soon going to be party time in PR town, maybe two weeks away.

Post-xmas training sucks, totally fell out of the routine. Last comment and thought is that I am 5 weeks away from cycle start and maybe its me brain playing on me both in terms of motivation, guts and focus. Never thought of the pre-cycle training motivation. Anyone else face this?

Post Christmas training sucks for me too. I've taken several weeks off and will start training again February 1st.

For me it is like anything else, if I miss one day then it is just as easy to miss the next and then the next and so on.

I am cruising until June, so the next few months will just be maintained training.
 
Body shock today. I do it once a month. Hit all body parts.... I always look forward to this.... Lots of carbs before training :)
 
30 minute Workout today. 5by5 bench. Added another rep. Ate well yesterday, big poo poo gangnam style. 3 reps more and I am back at pre-xmas baseline. This is taking too long...that DNP run must have shaved my maxes down ...
 
Squats and deads raw in a commercial gym today. 5 by 5. Squats were so-so, bumped into the rack a few times on the way out, pissed me off. Deadlifts were good, 310 raw with reps.

Got to use chalk, love to leave the gym in a white haze. Makes me want to rack some of it up and snort it godfather style before a set, to show the new year resolution club that when Don is in the gym, he ain't pulling them punches
