This shit takes a lot of commitment at any age, but I have to give mad respect to anyone over 40 really putting in the effort. My joints are pissy enough in my twenties!
 
Back to the gym today, felt surprisingly strong for just getting over being sick...
Even set a new PR for Deadlifts... I never really did them before aside from with one of my trainers back in the day on rare occasions.. but jumped from a PR of 315 all the way up to a PR of 365lbs. made my day!

thanks! Even better news, just got ahold of my old training partner who just competed at the U.S.A.s in Vegas to try and get his IFBB pro card, sent him the pics and basic outline of what I'm eating and samples of my training. ... he's going to be doing my diet and give me a new regimen, track my progress etc. .. until I'm at a point to pick up with his trainer. .. 2.5 years till I'm back in Oregon, hopeful soon after that i will be on stage.

damn noticeable difference.. just wondering are those new side poses you relaxed or sucking in your stomach??

if you look at the bottom pic compared to the top ones you can see a huge fuckin difference bro well done

I've actually lost 41.03lbs of fat..... at 317lbs I had 38.2%bf

This morning I was at 28.8% at 278

The majority of that fat loss was in the last couple months because I've lost over 6% just in the last 20lbs... so test cyp has been helping immensely in gaining lean mass.

I know in between I've giving different bf% but that was based off different measurement systems that aren't as accurate. I originally used a bioelectrical impedance machine at phys therapy to get my accurate reading... and bought the same machine a few weeks back to take any guess work out. .. only way to get more accurate is hydro static weighing. ... that ain't happening in the boonies lol.

Thanks! Hoping that's sooner rather than later (as I'm devouring one Of those Magnum double Peanut butter ice cream bars, because I know my diet is being revamped tomorrow by my new trainer and I won't get to cheat for a while).

Hopefully handing the reigns over and just following the orders will kick this shit up to high gear..
 
Wow... haven't posted since Saturday. ..

First week is going good, My boy has seriously ramped up my food intake, and weight is still coming off. I feel good.

Side note. ... I HATE LUNGES.
