1st cycle, out of shape, high bodyfat

doing a great job. the faster you lose the fat. the faster the fat comes back. your body should only be losing 2lbs a fat a week. just remember to leave your ego at the door.
Yes, but as long as training and diet's on point then fat rebound should not become a real issue.

Perhaps adding cardio to the training mix can help too.

Bro, been on 55mins a.m. fasted cardio, and 20mins evening at 6 days a week for the last month lol... so yeah, the cardio is definitely having an effect on it lol... obviously not since Thursday, but you know what i mean

Wednesday morning marks 2 weeks since my last pin... feeling much more irritable and down.... though that could be from being out of commission... Im not sure what to expect and be conscious of, as far as discontinuing temporarily so that I can get accurate bloods for my doctor who will actually prescribe TRT

I know I've been off in Wonderland, back is slowly getting better. Got another two weeks before I have another checkup. Physical therapy is going ok, I'm just hoping that things will be better by then. I am going stir crazy like nobodies business. And I'm craving the gym super bad. My calluses are going away, along with my progress.

On the plus side, i get the results of my bloods on Monday, I'm stoked for that.

Any who. Keep grinding guys, do a couple extra reps for me!

Weight is still coming off. 258 this morning. For breakfast I devoured a steak, a bowl of berries and oatmeal, and a 40g shake. Got the new flavors of SPECIES Isolyze, Cinnamon Donut and Vanilla Peanut Butter. Cinnamon Donut is very mild in flavor but still good, and the Vanilla Peanut Butter kinda reminds me of a Reese's Blizzard. Love having variety

On a side note I picked up ANOTHER 30lbs of steak last night. Cut it prepped in 8oz cuts by the butcher, then I seperated em into individual freezer bags, half went 4 each into gallon sized ones, poured in different marinades, then worked it into the steak before removing the air and throwing em in the freezer.
I'm a firm believer that as long as you can store it, there is no such thing as too much meat :)

258 and still dropping!

That's 59lbs I've dropped. I'm very satisfied with my results so far. Especially considered I've been unable to train. Body fat has lowered slightly too, so that's a huge plus.

Looking good. Serious progress there. Nice going back and comparing them to the old pics, eh?
Thanks bro!

absolutely :)

Especially since I finally went back to body building instead of training for MMA in wrestling. And because I've been making really good progress and it just seems more natural and easier for me to stick with the program training and eating like a bodybuilder vs training and eating like a fighter. Even when I'm exhausted I still don't feel extremely depleted, and I can actually see the difference lol.

Nice. I'm coming to believe more and more, that success is achieved by tailoring your training around your life and abilities. Rather than trying to fit your life around some "ideal" training concept. Those who can enjoy themselves are the ones who achieve the true consistency and lifestyle change. All about being able to sustain the routine, fuck doing something that cuts into your real life in a major way. At least, for those of us who's "real life" isn't their training. . .

And fatigue management goes a long way toward your general well being. I would not want to train for mma, at least not competitively. Been wanting to get back into muay thai. Or judo, I always thought that was a fascinating sport. Too hard to dedicate any more time or money to myself right this second though.

Yea up until a few years ago my life pretty much revolved around that. I would have early morning 1 on 1 sessions with my boxing coach, then on lunch I would hit the gym for circuit style training, then in the evening I would have boxing at 6, then grappling at 7, every other night was MMA drills and conditioning. And I would only take a rest day maybe every other weekend. Unfortunately I got injured a couple of times back to back then round up for working on the road so I went from eating a lot and training an insane amount to not training and still eating a lot as well as starting to drink.

But back then I also had dreams and goals of making a career out of something other than working a regular job. But the wireless communications industry actually grew on me, and I enjoyed being able to balance my life the way I do now, sans injury of course, there's something very enjoyable about having an incredibly hard workout early on in the day and then being able to come home then relax and enjoy the company of your family without having to think about anything else.

IMO, you should find a doc that will prescribe the test! they are out there. That and some rehab of the knee and some hard work in the gym then a cycle will be of great benefit.
AAS is not the end all be all it is like a supplement, there to assist when hard work needs a boost! Just my thoughts. good luck to ya bro!

found one. Hard to do on a small island in the middle of nowhere. But, I cut out almost 4 weeks ago. Then she tested my blood and my test came back at 223. However because my vitamin D was extremely low - she wants me to take vitamin D supplements for the next 12 weeks and then come back and if my vitamin D is up in my test isn't then she's going to prescribe TRT

Glad to see you found someone who can work with you. Just being able to access the bloodwork on cruise is a big deal.

It's easy to forget how insular westernized life is. Hard for a lot of people nowadays to imagine not having every option you want at your finger tips, or at least within reasonable driving distance. You guys have it a lot closer to natural reality up there for sure.

Did you go back on for the time being, and plan to crash it again for next visit?

Attempting to get back into routine. Hit 40 minutes of cardio today, and a full chest / tri's session. Diet is on point after a bit of slacking last week.... tomorrow is leg day, which is going to be awkward because my back was hurting like hell after today's session, so There's a good chance that I just do extensions and ham curls.....

Started back up this weekend. Feeling a bit better already. Could be placebo effect, but I'm 72 hours in, so I dunno.
