A cry for help... and my powerlifting log

435lbs was so close. Maybe push pull was the way to go. Squats suck.

Yea. Hindsight being what it is now... lol.

I have a meet in December so I’m going to keep training bench and in 4 weeks hopefully work in deadlifts and some much lighter squats. I got some rebuilding to do. I had already planned to do this next training period following the 5th Set (focus on squat and bench with accessory deadlift OR deadlift and bench with accessory squat). So this will work out I think. I have time and as I get closer I can decide if I want to do push pull or full power.

If I could ever get all 3 together at once I’d have a 1500+ total. But there’s always something that comes along to fuck me.

My kids officially think I’m fully retarded though. “This is what you do for FUN?” [emoji1787]

Yeah, that's why I thought you should do full power because you're right there at a 1500lbs and that's an accomplishment by any standards at any age. I'm in a similar boat at different times in the gym I've hit my lifetime total goal, but haven't managed to put it all together at once at a meet.

Fuck man, tough day at the office. You got some balls for continuing and benching. Most would have gone to the hospital or home. You’ll be back

Some solid attempts at the very least! A display of grit on deciding to continue benching after your squat injury. On a side note, I'm pretty positive I actually attended the meet you were at for a friend of mine.. lol
