This is why you can't expect people to embrace another culture or people.
East Indians have their very distinct culture. They don't give a single shit about any of us, they care about their people, accomplishments and furthering it into the future.

As a white man I don't embrace black culture, indian, jewish, hispanic. It's not mine, as a white man I would see myself as not having a very expressive culture, like most whites I would consider our culture as polite, respectful and reserved to those around us that show us the same courteousy, with the occasional psycho and sociopath popping up to cause problems.
Based on numbers it looks like the holocaust is worse and even though it would be horrific to be murdered with maximum German efficiency, it would be over in a relatively short period. Blacks had hundreds of years of living under savagery.
The American system was founded under brutality, not just the black man even though they got the absolute worse of it, but millions of men of all nationalities have been fed into the meat grinder in this country to serve industrialist elites. Very few people have bothered learning the true history of this country, questioning every myth they've been taught, questioning the very foundations of this country that allow a certain small group of people to rule and exploit.

Blacks were able to live life though. although they were forced down the road they traveled, they actually in many cases had some semblance of opportunity. If I'm not mistaken (I'm not mistaken) the European Jews were under the threat of being eradicated as a people? I'd take slavery over the latter but that's me. The entire idea of either of these situations happening is appalling but slavery over death 10/10 times for me.

Disrespectful? I support individuals' desire to air grievances and propose solutions (from modest to radical). However, I see it more as a distraction from the issue of police misconduct and brutality (albeit usually inadvertent) than necessarily disrespectful. And unfortunately, opponents of police reform can cherry-pick extremists views to derail any meaningful action.
It's another narrative promoted by some more than others. The end result is that little is ever done about "systemic racism against Black Americans in the criminal justice system".

You see, here’s the problem. I believe there are things to be addressed and I have in my experience a unique perspective. I’m a human. We have a unique history here, black and white.

And I refuse to talk about these things together because they always, always get pulled into that. Check the record. I don’t consent to that.
