"At the Sentencing, the Judge screamed and yelled at me for calmly and respectfully stating I would be appealing the verdict.
By the way, by law, I HAD to.
Just minutes prior to the Sentencing Hearing, my "defense attorney" (ahem) Stacia Buchanan informed me I would have to address the Court. WHAT????? Why didn't she tell me beforehand, as this was already going to be the most stressful (as I would be finding out what they were going to do to me--up to and including a year in jail!) and humiliating day of my life, and I would be stressed out to the max? Anyone needs time to think about what to say; your words have great impact on how the Judge sentences you.
For the record, I sent her an email a week prior to the Sentencing Hearing, asking her exactly what I needed to do to prepare myself for the hearing. Her response? A smart-ass: "Just try to keep yourself out of trouble until then."
Of note, she also never told me how to dress for court, or even that I should have a couple pillars of the community write letters on my behalf for the Judge.
The very minute the verdict was read she stood up and announced she was withdrawing as my attorney.
We have now learned she had complained about our relationship to the Judge, who then proceeded to assign a second attorney, a loser by the name of Steven Feigelson (look up his website--you'll see what I mean) to "help". More on Steven Feigelson's "help" later (after my attorney is done with him).
Here's the problem with that: Stacia Buchanan never said a word about any of that to me. She thus supremely violated her fiduciary relationship to her client. Or she was simply mistaken, in that she thought her fiduciary relationship was to the Judge who assigns her these cases, so she can make a living, not to her client?
This is going to be very interesting when I take her before the State Bar.
With this enlightenment in a subsequent hearing, the first Judge withdrew from the case, for "extrajudiciary knowledge"--totally inappropriate knowledge he possessed PRIOR to the trial!
Turns out Ms. Buchanan objected to the emails I sent her, breaking down all the lies and inconsistencies in the MTPD reports, as well as a professional evaluation of all medical records. In doing so, I was complicating her efforts to bring this Judge ANOTHER DV conviction.
Those emails will now also be her undoing. And i had not choice but to spend my time on them, since she was doing absolutely nothing to defend me.
...and the Prosecutor and now TWO Judges from the 55th District Court are doing everything they can to protect her malfeasance. I am told everyone down there "likes her very much". She is also now the head of the Ingham Co. Bar Association.
...while an innocent citizen who has done absolutely nothing wrong continues to be damaged by these people. Ass. Pros. Susan Hoffman Adams is pulling every dirty trick she can think of to draw this out beyond my sentence. Ms. Adams is as low as they come--Mike Nifong in a pant suit.
She has now succeeded--and is costing me untold thousands of dollars in additional legal expenses, in making me serve my entire sentence WITHOUT A SINGLE LEGITIMATE HEARING REGARDING MY APPEAL! And using OUR hard-earned taxpayer money to do so. We are. literally, paying these people handsomely to violate our civil rights.
I will be printing the transcripts to prove all this when we get the website up and running."

"The Judge from my trial has now ruled, during an Appeal Hearing (that really wasn't), it is okay with him the police fabricated evidence and perjured themselves to convict me. And the Prosecution was not trying to withhold evidence when they kept that dash cam recording (as well as the one made in my house when I supposedly "confessed" to the crime) from the Defense until just hours before the trial. Of note, they had them for 4 1/2 months prior to that. As well as Stacia Buchanan did a fine job of representing me.
I did research on this Judge. I was told, by several local attorneys, that a man is automatically guilty in his court room, and that he gives fair trials--right before he hangs you. He is the darling of the Domestic Violence Industry.
At the Pre-Trial he called me guilty. It's right in the transcript.
THAT is why I demanded a jury trial. But with the perjury of MTPD officers Edward Besonen, Les Diebolt, Brad Bach and Gregory Harris (as now proven by their own notes and recordings), hearsay evidence allowed by Stacia Buchanan--including Debby DeJonge repeatedly claiming, before the jury, she now has a "closed head injury" (contradicted by all medical documentation; medical documentation never brought forward by Stacia Buchanan), and Prosecutorial Misconduct by Ass. Pros. Laurie Oberle....I simply did not stand a chance."
