try adding more red meat and green leafy veggies but I dont think itll bring it up much
Yeah, I mean there is room for more red meat but I already get a pretty decent helping of green vegetables. At least 15oz/day. Graned, I know that meat has the more readily absorbed heme iron. So you're correct that more red meat is something I should at least try.
he said nothing worked for him lol. alot of people use EPO safely. of course I would never put anyone on it
Well, not that nothing worked lol. I said "I'm always looking for ways to increase it. Test doesn't move it very much." And no test doesn't do much for my hemoglobin at all. If I'm only using TRT levels of test, my HgB will be at near medically anemic values. I know some guys complain that basic TRT amounts of test skyrocket their CBC values to unhealthy levels.
Also, EQ has worked for me to increase HgB but never to remotely dangerous levels. The highest HgB I've recorded was 15.7 after 500mg of test and EQ for 20 weeks. The length of the ester is a bit off-putting though. So, other methods/drugs to increase it always grab my attention.
I must have missed that he'd tried everything. Has
@cmK9s33 tried EQ?
If he hasn't tried EQ, you'd actually tell him to use EPO, because some people have used it and lived to tell the tale? People surviving in spite of misuse = safe bro?
I have used EQ but not in very large doses. The long acting ester has usually made me err on the side of choosing lower doses in the past (500mg at most). I've used it with the primary intent of it being a performance enhancer and secondarily as an anabolic agent. It did seem to help performance and provide a seemingly modest boost to Hgb, but in actuality it was a significant one for me.
My question was more with the intent of using something as an HRT add-on. My HgB is typically low 13's while on TRT, and (as I said in my first post to mac11wildcat) Im always looking for ways to increase it. I should have been a bit more specific I suppose.
As to EPO, honestly I'm typically so far from the danger zone (and I have a home rbc/hgb tester) that I would be interested to try it if I could source it more easily and reliably. But figuring out the iron deficiency would probably be necessary to get the benefit of EPO.
