First DNP Cycle Log

You may have seen this but it seems like it would be worth a read if not.
My DNP fucking nightmare... Please read and be warned.
Yup, I read through the whole thing. Very scary stuff. After some digging, I actually found 5-6 people who have suffered the same fate. Right now, I just have my fingers crossed that I'm not going to be included in that.

I've always wanted to try DNP, you know? If for nothing else the experience.... When I get to that point I realize I've always achieved my goals with diet and exercise plus wise drug choices... Every time I've opted to go the safer route. Rarely do I believe DNP is a good solution.

The lore surrounding it reminds me a lot of insulin, though. People act like insulin is going to kill you... Can it? Sure, of course. However, if you're smart enough to read how to use it properly, and start slowly and conservatively, you will most likely be just fine. Therein lies the problem, though. Us bodybuilding/powerlifting types are rarely those who understand "going slow and conservatively"....

People reading this, be smart...
Yup, it's all about self-control when it comes to this stuff. The sides are a nuisance and luckily, I haven't had any to the point where I considered giving up. If someone decides to use it without doing proper research, their life is definitely in jeopardy.

Honestly, I tried it solely because it's the single most extreme anorectic available. Crazy side effects, possibility of death, and everyone in their right mind telling me not to do it. . . Sign me up. I learned to stop fighting it a while ago. Just can't help myself.

There is no need to use it, barring being a couple of weeks behind in prep. Done right, it's not an easy or lazy way of dieting. It IS the single fastest way of cutting weight, but anyone calling it easy has never run it. Like I said, I would rather starve. Might be different if I were in Maine or something. SW Florida, no thank you.
Yes, the climate is definitely a game-changer. Fortunately, I'm up in Pennsylvania and it hasn't been above 50*F. I can't even imagine using it in an area with a warmer climate.
 
Day 10 @ 500mg:
Just a typical day of sweating my butt off. I was sitting in my car and I didn't realize how much I was actually sweating and started to get dehydrated. Terrible feeling. But I drank a couple bottles of water and I was good to go. Night sweats are really starting to inhibit my sleep. I don't get much sleep at night, so that just adds to the general miserableness that I feel all day. Oh well, tomorrow is the halfway point. I'm pretty confident that I can just power right through.

Are you injesting much carbs? Because the sweats suck,but can be minimized somewhat by carb starvation/depletion...just wondering about prebed carb intake??? I soak the sheets every night but I eat whatever I fucking want...(ice cream,you name it..lol)

I haven't been meticulously tracking my macros, however my calorie intake never exceeds 1500 daily. It's only that low because I just don't have the energy to do pretty much any sort of exercise.
If I had to guess, I'd say that I'm on a high protein, low fat, moderate carb type diet right now. I usually don't eat after 5pm and I'm usually in bed by 10-11.

So far, so good! The cravings are definitely there, but it's nothing I can't manage. In the past, I've done some pretty crazy diet plans. Not the best in terms of health, but they gave me iron willpower, which I guess is a benefit at this point in time. When I finish this cycle, I'm definitely going to post some before and after pictures. I'm actually really hesitant to hop on the scale, so I planned to do that 4-5 days post-cycle.
 
Just stay discipline on your goals.. don't cut calories to extreme or you going to rebound. It took you years to gain those weights.. it's going to take years to come off.. Just give it time.. cardio, cardio, cardio.. is the key.. Stay safe bro!

I hear that, man! I'm down ~125 lbs so far (305-~180). It's been a LONG journey and I've learned a lot along the way. Seen plenty of people who drop an enormous amount of weight only to put it back on because they just couldn't adjust to the lifestyle. It's a harsh reality which I definitely don't want to fall into.

Night sweats, lethargy, short of breath, what else is new? I swear, I could be completely dry all day and take a 10 minute nap and wake up soaked. Never saw anything like it before. Despite the side effects, the cycle is actually going by super fast. If I don't end up hitting my goal this cycle, I'm going to run another one 2 weeks after the end of this one. It's tough to see solid results because of the water weight and, since I lost a ton of weight, my skin has lost some elasticity. Hopefully it isn't bad enough to warrant surgery. I'm getting a bit ahead of myself.

You're moving the goal post and it's something I advise you not to do! Keep to your original plan-get off-wait for 2-3 weeks before starting again...

Yeah that's exactly what I was going for. I would never extend this cycle for longer than 3 weeks. It's pretty hellish as it is already. Fingers crossed, I won't have to do another cycle. Thankfully, it's been fairly chilly here. 30*F at night and around 50*F midday. That's definitely an advantage. I couldn't even imagine using this stuff during the summer. Makes me shudder just thinking about it!

I couldnt drink enough water and Gatorade/// guzzling it constantly--- I still damn near passed out and got dehydrated. DNP is BRUTAL... I tried to run it about a week and a half ago- I said fuck it after day3.. Keep up the good work..
I actually had a similar experience. I was stuck driving for a couple hours and I drank my whole supply of water and I started to get dehydrated. I barely had the strength to get to my sink to get some more water. After about 6 cups, I felt like a million bucks again. That's definitely the thing to look out for when using this stuff. I learned from my mistake and now carry a gallon of water with me wherever I go. I'm definitely counting down the days! My last dose will be next Friday. It can't come any faster.
 
Why is the night sweats only when you fall asleep? That happens with al ot of things/drugs. I am fine fall asleep for 30 min and wake up drenched. But I feel fine before and after I dry off.

I wondered this too actually. During the day, I sweat more than usual but nothing too crazy. But when I get woken up in the middle of the night, I'm absolutely drenched. It's actually dripping off my head. I usually have to go the bathroom to dry off. Never saw anything like it before.

I felt particularly crappy. I just couldn't put my finger on what was wrong. So, I ended up putting 2 and 2 together. I have a fan on full blast pointed at me all night with my windows open. It usually dips below 30*F outside. Since I tend to sweat like a dog during the night, I kind of figured that I caught a cold. So yeah. That's what I'm dealing with now. Dnp+a cold. Pretty miserable but I feel a lot better today.

Are you taking ephedrine,caffeine or testosterone... I know all of these things plus Vitamin C usually help out alot while down in the dumps on D.... Plus a small gulp of honey here and there...
