Never really liked him, I could always tell he was a sellout piece of shit.

A shit actor and an overrated bodybuilder, Oliva, Nubret and even Franco were all better bodybuilders than him, with more balanced and aesthetic physiques.

I feel that people only watched his movies because of his stupid accent and to laugh at him, but since I was born in the 90s I can’t really tell if that was the case or if there was a genuine interest and admiration for him, but I honestly can’t bring myself to believe it. The movies were just a cringe fest in my opinion.

When he ran for governor, he forsake and even spoke against his bodybuilding days, even demanding golds gym to take out his pictures from the walls, for him not to be associated with the sport.

I think you can clearly tell what kind of person he really is after doing such thing.

Another “celebrity” that sold out to The woke left, I had already little respect for him, but now I despise him.

This is Arnold who said sometimes I give bad advices, Arnold who was great because he would do or say whatever it took to win, why are we surprised he does anything, since in his last he has shown he will do anything to win or be on the winning side. This is just him being on the side of perceived virtue. In essence Arnold has shown he will lie at the drop of a hat to win. He has not turned into a scumbag he has always been a scumbag. But it is still ok to enjoy his movies and appreciate his bodybuilding and his incredible work ethic. But you don’t have to agree with his lack of character, which he has always shown. And you don’t have to be anti vax, covid blah blah to see Arnold this way.
I think it is funny that celebrity and government officials are the biggest virtue signalers with this junk and yet they are some of the least virtuous people of our entire society! In fact they just prove the point that you can be a complete loser and still get the vaccine and wear a mask haha! Celebrity and elected officials are all about appearance with very little substance. They are chameleon, they test the winds of pop culture as portrayed by these news agencies and adjust accordingly. And this is not a covid post or point, this is how they live.

Any American citizen who says "Screw your freedom," regardless of the issue, is going to get pushback from Americans who still value the founding ideal of this country, regardless of what the particular issue is under discussion.

It is not the context of his speech, but what he said that bothers me.

If he just encouraged mask wearing and engaged in vigorous debate, I would have been fine with it.

But "Screw your freedom?" This is not just "boo hoo" or whatever was being posted above. That strikes right at the very heart of the reason this country exists.

I don’t really think he had one of the best physiques of all time. I’ve never been a fan of Arnold and always thought he was overrated. Weider was his schmoe. He didn’t even have the most impressive or complete physique in 80s.

back then the standards for physique shows were a lot different than now don't forget. I do agree with you on how Arnold's physique stacks up with other BB greats and if he were to compete using today's rules he would be near the bottom of the pack most likely.

In one, he was literally the ONLY competitor (Weider banned anyone else from competing)
and in another he refused all poses that didnt show off his strong points.
He had MAYBE the 5th best physique of that competition and won anyways.
