I see that you have a host of health/erectile and other issues. I see no reason for me to pile on
Instead, I will wish you all the best, and even pray for you. You are in the UK, yes? I have heard ,many, many times that if you are in range, they will take no action. For example, lets say the range is 300 to 1100 (that is for Labcorp, ymmv). If you tested at 301, docs won't do anything. We all know that 301 sucks.That would also, most l;likely, be the case even if shbg were high, thus reducing free test. Single payer, gov run medicine explains this situation.
My advice would be to find a good Euro based ugl, and do self trt. I have a couple of friends that swear by the Euro ugls, even w/ the added risk.

How much cardiology and trauma n' such do you all go over in school? Always kind of struck me as odd that you all can challenge our Paramedic exam. Not that I could ever envision someone with their DDS aspire to become gainfully employeed as a Medic making 40k/year, but still...Sheet....I'm a freakin' dentist and can answer all of those questions

I did my first three years of dental school as a medical student. Same classes, same exams, full body dissection, virtually nothing dental related for first two years.
In my residency I did 3 months of GA in OR in a children's hospital, 3 months in the ED on top of the usual dental call, 3 months in pediatrics. I did hundreds of oral conscious sedations.

Matter of fact up until a few years before me students were forced to not only take part 1 and 2 of the dental boards but also the medical boards as well. You couldn't progress to third year without passing part 1 and you couldn't graduate without passing part 2.

MO the reason SOME DDSs may need much of the knowledge common to EMS personnel is their desire to administer conscious sedation, and with that, airway/CV management.
Some states require APLS and/or ATLS before administering CS.
Should "something go wrong"
having a paramedic certification would look great from a legal perspective, IMO.

Not all dental schools do this....actually most don't. Most give a watered down medical education. Maybe 2 or 3 schools do it this way.
To put it into perspective....on the dental boards the national average for my year was a 83 and my class average was a 94 and I scored a 97. We were given 5 days to study....we always score 1 or 2 in the nation on boards.
