Its brew time!!

@colossus25

Since we're talking about BB and suspending. What's the longest you've seen a solution stay suspended before crashing? I know atmosphere temp and house temp play a roll in this but I'm pretty sure we're in the same area. [emoji6]
Yes I've noticed some are a little different than others, really I've noticed that from different raw suppliers i have different results. The only thing ive ever seen crash is test cyp i brewed my first time and took it up to north carolina. That where i learned about EO. Im pretty much a sea level and in warmer climates so i have that advantage. We'll see if the prop continues to hold but it held over night and pinned smooth as butter.

@TRT the longest I've seen anything hold is some test prop i brewed at the standard 18% BB. It lasted a year like that in my cabinet up until i used it.

That is literally the exact same equipment and same process I use (minus the water bath, I just put directly on my hot plate). The only thing I do different is I always do batches in 100ml increments as it makes measuring easier and I hate spending a few hours brewing for just 5 or 6 vials.
Great pics, great write up! Can't wait to see your upcoming cycle.

Yeah im definitely going to be switching it up with the water bath like you and @XKawN recommended. Im going to be investing in a high accuracy hot plate and boroscilicate beakers for my next run. Only reason i do it in a water bath is because that is the way i did it my first time, which wasn't on a hot plate rather a frying pan and water lol. I usually brew 100ml at a time as well but this is a new source im trying so i wanted to see how the gear turned out. Actually it turned out better than the stuff i got from LMC. Passed melting point absolutely perfectly. Next paycheck ill be sending samples to Analyzer.

Nice. If i could make one criticism it would be the water bath. I always suggest making sure water/vapors are never near your gear. Water and oil don't mix.
I myself was going to point that out..he might not get water but sure enough many others would and have cloudy gear and wonder why... Hotplate Stirrers are the only way to go...very little heat if any at all is required when using one of those as well.. add oil/bb/ba very little heat start stirring add powders saran wrap the top of beaker walk away eventually it will all go into solution........bottletop filter .22 with a prefilter pad ...filter and done have gear that lasts years.....

Not that im justifying my water usage but i used very little water and never let it get passed a simmer. 249° was the max temperature i recorded this run. I agree with you that the water bath is unnecessary but like i mentioned before i wouldn't trust standard glass on a hot plate like that. (Even though these are supposedly rated to 350°) I work a lot with glass and have seen them break with less heat. Boroscilicate beakers is the next thing on the menu for me. Like i said i completely agree with you and anybody reading this please invest in boro beakers and do not use water!

Hey, if you really watch things that method works but you know alot of people will mess up a wet dream and be clueless...just like when most brew for the first few times and post bloods it goes either was if they are low it could have been a mistake on calculations and not the raws..then other side they do bloods and are like holy hell its strong they could have had bad calculations once again.. could go either way... take things for what they are..

Like i said brother i whole heartedly agree with you. I've had water get into a batch before thats why i know how to control it and what variables to watch. Its very true any inexperinced member could look through this and try and completely fuck it up. Im glad i have guys like you and the others to point that type of shit out.

I use a hot plate to.
Thats the only way to go, my next investment is going to be a high accuracy hot plate with a digital temperature read out. That and a small autoclave if i can find one cheap enough. I just realized that i have a set of 500ml boro beakers that i haven't even used yet.

Off topic: my girl's mom is actually the one who packed my lab supply when she found it in the utility closet. She asked my girl if i was cooking meth or some shit lmaoo. She's been looking at me different ever since hahaha
That's too funny. My gf's mom knows when I'm taking my Testosterone script (Tren cycle actually) like I'm suppose to be, i fuck like an animal. She looks at me differently now too. Lol

Shortly ill post up a little more detail on everything. I was half asleep last night and got lazy haha

Maybe help me with the caulking. I blew out a whatman today. Now i have about 60ml that needs to be refiltered. Maybe I'm just rushing?

I don't have a hot plate, but i used my wifes electric griddle, which is just a big ass hot plate.
