They're good for that for sure. I've got to pick up a C clamp and figure out how to mount it to that wrist wrap roller and it'll make working with wraps a lot easier. That's the worst part of using them.

That's weird how that happens. I've been lucky that my back never gives me problems (knock on wood), it's always my knee, shoulders, elbows and forearms that give me hell. At least you're still able to squat, should help with maintaining your deadlift somewhat in the meantime.

Let me know how that roller works wih your wraps. When I buy wraps I'll get one also if it works.

Ironically enough I've had all those injuries you've had also lol. Right now though they're fine. Back is the big issue.

Will do. From fooling with it so far I believe it will. You have to pry the gap a little to fit the wider knee wraps in, not hard though. It could be made more permanent with tools. The part that rolls the wrap is a tiny bit shorter than my wraps are wide, but I don't think it'll prevent rolling them. That could be fixed as well if it needed to be. Trying to use it without it mounted seems near impossible though, so I won't know 100% until I get that worked out.

Squat is my weak point in relation to my other lifts, too. I'd have no problem following directions to the letter if I believed in who was giving them either. It'll be awhile off, but I think I will get some coaching for my next meet. Not the just for fun push/pull I might do later this year, but a full power meet.

I do that in most aspects of life, my mind misses the simplest answer and goes straight to the overcomplicated ones.

Sorry for the log hijack, Doc. Squats are looking strong, by the way. 2x bodyweight should be right there if you haven't gotten it already.

If you'd like the info for my coach let me know. You can talk to him about your current state and goals and get a feel for him yourself n

For sure, it'll be a few months, but I'd like to do that and see what I think. The absolute earliest I'll compete again is September, so around May or June would be when I'd want to see about working with him if I was to compete in September. I appreciate it.

Thanks Rob and Mr. B! Appreciate the wishes.

Rob: I've only squatted in one other set of wraps before so I don't have much experience with them but I'll give you my thoughts if you like when I'm able to try them out. They're supposed to have great rebound for a narrow to medium stance fast squatter which seems to be both our styles

Most definitely let me know. I have few more things I'm looking into at the moment as well.
