Meso Powerlifting Corner

Absolutely it is possible that you gain more quickly than others. I believe your body type would be referred to as a mesomorph if that is the case. You also could have very good leverages for squatting and or/pulling. Hard to say without seeing video but leverage, particularly in the deadlift, is huge.

I made it to a 380 bench and a 540 deadlift at 195 before starting TRT.
Nice man!

And @gr8whitetrukker thanks for the comparison bro. Good to know my goals aren't completely out of reach

Fear can be the best motivator when lifting. Its helped me hit PRs plenty of times. Bar cant slip because I want to live.
Yes, that's why I scream and yell and berate the bar. Jus mind ya own business...it's between me an the baro_O
I figure, if the bar is afraid of me it won't dare fail:mad:

I also don't turn on the shower faucet.
I just look at it until it cries:confused:

Great session in the gym today...only second one since the deadlift AMRAP comp a fortnight ago...
Benched a double with pauses at 125kg... Squatted alright, 3 sets of 2 at 170, pause on each second rep.
Then, deadlift of 230kg... That's 507lbs, finally getting over 500! A 5kg PB.

I envy that 500 #!!! Great work!!

Good shit, @RandallNowan . Hoping to be over 5 on DL after these 8 weeks.

Started doing 915 program because its pretty short, but seems good, and the ability to cycle it back and forth with my BB routine seems good to me.

Ended up doing 5x5 with 335 today squats. Hit 215x4x5, chest to lockout with bench.... Working with 405, hitting 5x5 for DL... I want that 600 so fucking bad

I feel you on the 600 lust, that's my goal by January.

Mid 5 squat, 405 bench, and 6 deadlift. If I can nail those down by December this year will have been a huge success for me. The 405 bench is probably already there, just gotta do it. I'm not one to just pr for the hell of it anymore, or risk injury. If i can't do it comfortably I'll just leave it. The squats and dead are gonna need a lot of training and planning. They dont come as naturally for me as the bench does. I've got some things planned for fall and hopefully I can nail those down without issue. Then before we know it it's gonna be 2017 and time to add another 50lbs to the bar and 20 lbs to my body lol. It's really never ending cycle. No permanent satisfaction.

After 3 weeks of Dual Factor training Im taking a 4 day break . Ive reached the fatigue threshhold I was looking for . I took yesterday off so 3 more days then back to it . ~Ogh

Aint no joke is it :D

Its right there with HST training , which can be muscle murder . I did that one 3 different times . Im starting to enjoy this one too .
I modifyed it some but kept the core of the program the same as WC advocates. Im finally loving chins/pull-ups and dont know why I quit them , probably the discomfort of doing them and pain . But I got thru that in the 2nd/3rd week and look forward to them now .
