Meso Powerlifting Corner

Hell yes. FF3 (also known as FF6) is my fave, but FFX is my second fave. I know a lot of people didn't like it or liked 7 more. I loved FFX, the characters seemed alive for the first time on PS2.

I'm an old school JRPG fanatic. Turn based and I don't mind if it's linear if it's a great story. It's told the way it's meant to be that way. Absolutely loved Lost Odyssey on Xbox 360. If you like FFX and the old school JRPG vibe you have to play that one. You will not be disappointed at all. The story and characters are phenomenal. Gameplay, too.

Anyway, got a little excited there, lol. Rarely do I encounter other fans.
I think IX was my favorite. First one I played. Haven't liked one since x though. It was good but they kind of fell off after that. I wish I had more time to game these days...

We moved way out into the country when I was about 12 that's when I beat the video game habit. Fishing, hunting, hiking, playing with blue racers in the creek no time for much else.;)

Fuck I was a hardcore FPS gamer had a team and everything and was a real bad insomniac as a teen so could play all night which I thought was great then summer I turned 16 I broke my leg real bad and my girlfriend had 3 courses in summer school (insanely hot just dumb as a stump she was) so I played video games from 8am-4am almost daily, I started to hate playing video games then I went 16 days straight being the top guy in call of duty 4 online was my claim to fame but the second my cast was off I was done with video games and I've never gone back. I've played mariocart as a drinking game at parties and besides that it's been 8 years since I've touched a video game

Just too many other cool stuff in Canada to do, it's really the wonderland if you dig the outdoors

Kinda cool we might leave a legacy behind here.

I forgot you were one of like two people ever to recognize where my name and avi come from. Yeah, he's pretty much a superhero, can turn into and communicate with wolves, cross over to the dream realm and more. And looks badass.

With them wide blacksmith shoulders... big traps and shoulders on a powerlifter... coincidence much?

Haha, it seemed appropriate and now it's stuck. Funny if any book fans ever get linked here.

Chrono trigger. Rpg with dragon ball z creator behind the animations

I didn't realize that, it was before DBZ came out, right? I actually rented that game and it had the new game plus already and I made short work of it the first time.

I liked Earthbound - weird game. Go back and play it and you realize how really dark and creepy it is at some points you probably didn't recognize way back then.

And it's a known fact that 10 was the last good FF they made.

It was after I believe. DB and dbz were created roughly around 82-84 and 84-95 or so. Chrono was made around 93 or 94?

Hey, don't.get me wrong, videogames was only the entertainment after my mom would MAKE us come inside as kids at night time. I think that's the problem with kids these days. They use games all day and night, instead of enjoying them just when there's nothing else to do. I never had cable or sattelite in my room growing up so the Nintendo and PlayStation where all we could do if we were trapped inside.

I don't remember all of it off the top of my head, but there were really bizarre things said and done in that game. The cult for one. I saw something a long time ago that related events in the game to real life events.

I actually enjoyed FFX-2, mostly because Rikku was in it and she was my favorite character at that time. I'm not sure it was really such a great game though. I bought one of the later ones and played it one time and hated it.

Fun fact: the voice actress that does the voice for Rikku in FFX and FFX-2 does the voice of one of the leading characters in Lost Odyssey on Xbox 360. When I was a kid playing the FF games I was kinda in love with her voice, lol.

Haha I was a huge runescape nerd when I was growing up. I'd go home after soccer and just play that all night long. It was disgusting

Bless me lord for I have sinned  I needed to use straps for my final 2 working sets of deadlifts, I've lost my hookgrip caluses and the pain was beyond what I wanted to deal with. I'm sorry to all of those whom I've let down this is simply inexcusable:(

I'm trying to remember because it was ages ago but...

The most memorable part that made it especially creepy was in that town with the blocked pass and you go to the police station to try and get a pass. The cop tells you he'll help you and leads you through the police station to a room - empty with 5 cops. First time I've seen police brutality as a story device in a SNES game lol.

It sounds tame when you write it out but it gets dark fast when you think about it especially with the art style of the game and everything, and the fact the main character is a kid...
