The heaviest stiff bar deadlift I can find is Ray Williams 878lb pull. That 1015lbs is the heaviest on a deadlift bar. 1102lbs on an elephant bar.
 
This wasn’t even fathomable even just last year. Nobody is gonna touch his records for a long time.

Nobody is anywhere near that or even any hope of getting near there that I know of. Johnny Harris benched 700lbs last month weighing 290lbs, lightest to ever do it and maybe the only person under 300lbs to do it. 700lbs is light years from 800lbs though.

It’s crazy how much difference just 100lbs makes. That could easily be a decade of training.

I don’t think there are too many people benching over 700 at the moment? And most of them are being coached by Josh Bryant, lol. I know that James Strickland is close to 700.
 


He's a big sumo puller, but check out his conventional form. It's like he gets just low enough and when his hands touch the bar it's moving. Zero hips coming up early or anything.
