Meso Powerlifting Corner

Can you imagine how much he pinning he has to do with those fast esters, since he’s tested all the time? Holy fuck. Haha

Also, absolutely insane lift.
Right, there’s no fuckin way he’s not on something. I think a lot more of the USAPL/ IPF guys are that what they want you to believe

That was a single ply lift right? Higher deadlift than squat is common with geared lifters and even the SHW raw w/ wraps guys. The attributes that make them strong in the squat get in the way of them reaching down to the bar.

Yeah, I know being fat helps with squat and bench and hurts deadlift. His deadlift isn't much higher than mine. It's just crazy because I suck at squat and can't imagine it.

Shit that’s not too bad even though he was bouncing it he kept his ass down. He also pulled 405x3 conventional with straps. Good for him. I used to listen to him when I was younger but wasn’t a huge fan on anything.

Yeah, I had some of his early solo stuff and Wu Tang Clan stuff back in the day too.

The shit he did with Redman was hilarious. Decent beats too. He wasn’t the best actor but definitely not the worst. He’s definitely aged well.

I wonder who are the strongest celebrities out there? Besides the actual athletes. I know a bunch of these guys lift but no clue if any of them put up decent numbers. I don’t follow celebrities on social media

The movie How High was great. I had their album they did together too. The Rockwilder or something like that.

Bradley Cooper and Hugh Jackman got moderately strong for roles for regular people. I can't think of his name, but the fat dude from American History X and he was in that football movie and I think Butterfly Effect lost a ton of weight is in decent shape now.

Might have to Google strong celebrities now.

WTF is wrong with me, when a skinny dude pushing 50 is benching more than me?

Deadlift he's not even close though and I'm guessing not squat either. More people focus more on bench.

I think you could chest bounce it like he did for at least a single.
I think the key is gonna be higher frequency, higher reps and variations for guys like us. I’m gonna Bench 3x a week. Powerlifting day, bodybuilding day and speed day. A good setup really help digging the shoulders in the pad

I know who your talking about, Ethan Suplee. Mark Whalburg got pretty big too, same with Tom cruise

So far I am loving the 3 day a week benching

Yeah, that’s what I’ve been working on—3 days a week. I’m gonna just maintain squat / DL until I get this poverty bench at least somewhat respectable.

I think the most impressive thing about that, too, is that he doesn’t even train bench lol.

like dude.. how the hell do you bench 600 for reps without ever training?
There’s a few hefty strong men guys at my gym, pretty similar. There one who’s about 6’1” 350. Never seen him bench. OHP , LOG,stones, etc. never bench. He decided to bench one day. 365x3-5. I thought that’s pretty damn solid he can probably get about 415 for a single.

I guess I need to train strongman to get my bench up. Lmao.
