Overall I'm happy with how the day went considering that I have a shoulder injury. Totally fucking ecstatic about my squat! In the gym my squat blows but somehow at meets they are great. I will say that if I had been able to bench I would've taken a more conservative 3rd deadlift because my total would have been in my mind.

615 felt a little heavy but I figured fuck it, let's feel 650 and that shit was heavy as FUCK! I probably would of went for 635. On a brighter note, I got yelled at for headbutting the bar before my last squat, they said 'you can't leave skin on the bar!'. Hahaha as I finished the squat blood was running down my face. My proudest moment.

so I went to failure on the leg sled like a fucking pudd, got pinned with my knees in my chest :oops::mad: Im flexible so I wasnt in any pain but somehow in the process of peeling myself out from under there I tweaked my knee a bit...

seriously considering buying a pair of sleeves.
Im not looking for something as heavy as the SBD, I dont care about pop. More something for the awkward stuff like the split squats, lunges, strongman shit and to keep me warm....I was thinking Rehband but not sure If I should go 5m and size down or 7mm or???

I have the rehband 7mm. They do not provide any of the pop the SBDs do but they were good for what your looking for. They are very easy to get on and off and I went for actual size.

got my first squat session in my SBDs today, they are really nice. I could have maybe sized down to an L but XL is plenty snug, easy getting on/off, and actually impressed me how supportive they are.

Still may pickup another pair, I just got pulled into the reviews and bought them on a whim. If I wear XL in the SBD think XL in Rehband as well?

I would go with actual fit. I forget what size I got on my rehband. I just followed their fitting chart. I got larges for both SBD and rehband I believe. My SBDs are a bitch to get on and off though. The others slide right on no issues. The SBD are far better IMO though. I think I've used the others on light high rep days once or twice since I got the SBDs
 
PR yesterday
180kg squat finally

Was visiting my bestmates and they have a gym set up in there shed similar to mine but more powerlifting based. Anyway they was tellin me about there new bar (think it was called TEXAS SQUAT BAR)

It looked longer than the average bar and weighed 25kg. Well i dont kmow if it wss the bar or not but i finally hit 180kg. It was just an oppurtunist attempt so i had runners on


Edit- bodyweight 93.5kg on the day
