so I went to failure on the leg sled like a fucking pudd, got pinned with my knees in my chest :mad: Im flexible so I wasnt in any pain but somehow in the process of peeling myself out from under there I tweaked my knee a bit...

seriously considering buying a pair of sleeves.
Im not looking for something as heavy as the SBD, I dont care about pop. More something for the awkward stuff like the split squats, lunges, strongman shit and to keep me warm....I was thinking Rehband but not sure If I should go 5m and size down or 7mm or???

The Slingshot Strong sleeves are the only ones I have experience with, but I like them. I just got my actual size, no tighter. They're not hard to get on and feel pretty comfortable. Price is about the same as other high-end brands.

I'm pretty sure @RodgerThat has every pair there is, so he might have some better input.

...I dont use my arms too often to push my knees outta my chest. I like to swing bats, throw overhand rights, pickup heavy objects and carry them quickly, climb, swim...u know...weird shit like that. :p

Nah, just squats. I was going to wear them for that strongman workout the other day, but my fiancee was using them. Probably going to have to get her her own pair soon.

My strongman buddy was telling me about some UK brand that supposedly sponsors Eddie Hall that makes stuff like that. He said they don't advertise here. Can't remember the name, but seems like it was three letters and one of them was X. I can find out.

Well look where it got you
Almost kilt
Right there on the leg sled. Rest in peace for the beard less one who doesn't like strong arms
Spill a lil shine for my homie

Now your interrupting my righteous curling session. Back to work

If your just looking for something to keep your knees a bit warm I'd either go with the hookgrip sleeves they are only 12 bucks and that's what I use for my oly lifting and if my knees are cold and I'm warming up for a hike or run. If you want something with mild support and warms I'd go for the 5mm rehband sleeves it doesn't matter what size ou get they are stupid easy to get on I have those but rarely use them. I stick between my SBD sleeves if I'm doing anything over 3 plates for squats but if I'm sub 3 plates on squats or doing oly training I just wear the hookgrip ones.

I'd recommend rehbands, I got them for squats and they lost their bounce quick.. Not great for squats but good for a little support for what you will be using them for.

XXL for SBD if your just looking for warmth but for support and some bounce XL they'd still be easy enough to get on but maybe not the best for a 2 hour workout

For rehband I'd go large it'll be snug but they are comfortable for days and if you go XL they'll end up bagging out and sliding.

For strong sleeves XXL for what you are looking for but once again these won't be the best for our long workouts to just wear for warmth.

For hookgrip go for a large they aren't neaprene so they do stretch
Here's the websit for those, I think they'll be best for what you want and they are cheap as borsh

thanks yall
I order some XL BDS because the reviews sounded so positive I figured Id give em a shot on heavy days and a snug fit. Still havent ordered my "daily" set, but I think Im gonna give the Rehbands a go since they have smaller coverage area and break in some. Probably a 5mm but I almost think I could break a 7mm in over time
