Number Theory

I have not watched this yet, but I can guess is says there is no measured upper limit to temperature but there is a measured lower limit
It's just very basic thermodynamics, just plotting the temperature. More of a Happy Thanksgiving video if anything. The gentleman is such a funny individual.

I meant we as in all Humans just. It's a topic that will need to get addressed, well it is getting addressed currently but we don't know about it.

Well, we know about the EPA and the banning of DDT. Depending on the source, up to a million malaria deaths per years are attributed to that alone.

I am not very religious so correct me if I am wrong but the Church decided to not have sex before marriage as a means to control population and STDs from spreading. Is that correct?

I don't know the answer to that, but if I had to guess, I would say it had more to do with the value of property spoiled and unspoiled - the property being women, or little girls by our standards today.

Do you recognize that the people whom choose not to vaccinate themselves create a threat towards others humans? Do you think that is "right?"

Some vaccines have been known to cause exactly the disease they were designed to prevent in a very small percentage of the people. Do you think it's right to put unvaccinated people at risk exposing them to these people?

I assume that since you say you are against any intrusion through force or fraud that you are extremely anti-government. You don't believe in laws?

Anti-state maybe, but not anti governance. States gain too much power through taxation and similar means.

Law was originally derived from common law. The tradition in medieval times was that for a law to be valid, it had to be old, and it had to be good, and it applied to king and peasant alike. I'm not opposed to valid laws.

Yeah, I was thinking about it during my walk today. So here is my set up for how I would like things.

...

Not to put too fine a point on it, but it sounds like before anyone became eligible for, err, ruling, they would be thoroughly indoctrinated and completely loyal to the apparatus running the show. Do you know what people mean when they say "deep state"? I think you are describing a deep-state-ocracy : )

You have no clue how controlled you are. I don't think you will ever find out how egregiously mistaken you are. - Btw, I love when people give two opposite statements to each other and both people believe that they are 100% right. It's hilarious to me.

I meant free in comparison to other societies. There are different degrees of control. The ubiquitous police state doesn't happen until just before the collapse. We are nowhere close to that. In the mean time I have lots of options the majority of people in this world don't even know to dream of.

I know, a lot of people think USA is a democracy :p

I agree.

In regards to the subject of vaccines, not the BS ones... Do you think people should have a choice in the matter?

individual choice should always be trumped by greater good so long as it does not infringe on freedoms. vaccines help the "mob" in protecting the young and old with weak immune systems, so greater good here.

What about recreational drugs and alcohol? Are drugs and alcohol doing "good?"

I don't know about that. That's why I find it interesting to hear your opinion because you and I have different interests and read completely different things.

That's the way vaccines work! :p

Well now you are saying that vaccines are the problem?! :) Which is fine but I disagree. And, yes I believe that is right! :)

I was going to write thank God as a habit. Do you think it is annoying when people use those expressions or is it whatever?

Murky waters here!

Yeah, the applicants would be vetted by the psychologists and the people educating them throughout the process and I guess there would be some sort of system to mark if there are suspicions of corruption. I am not saying I think my way is right or wrong. It's just a suggestion that is fun to play around with. I like theoretical stuff.

If you want to make a comparison I am down to play that game!
North Korea vs USA

North Korea: Strict diet
USA: Brainwashed to eat your body to obesity.

North Korea: 5 choices of hair cuts.
USA: The choices of hair cuts are dictated by, what was the term Blackbeard used, "social proof."

North Korea: No fancy clothes
USA: Fancy and luxurious, suavecito! Creates strife and anguish.

North Korea: No drugs
USA: DRUGS DRUGS DRUGS DRUGS DRUGS DRUGS DRUGS

I am kidding, but with a little twinkle in my eye....

They are doing less harm than enforcement of the laws prohibiting them.
Well you are saying that as if the government is trying to stop the drug trade?

You know something? Have you ever heard about an a$$a$$ination attempt on any high official? I haven't heard many, I don't think it is because they don't happen. It isn't portrayed in the media however.

I hear about drug busts ALL the time. Why? Why don't they just stop the drug dealers and STFU about it? That would be in the DEA's best interest... But they don't... Hmmm, "strange."

Force is the problem. Vaccines are proven technology, but quality suffers when the makers are awarded monopolies by government.

Doesn't bother me at all.

Yeah, the applicants would be vetted by the psychologists...

Oh man, stop right there. I'm married to a psychologist, and as a result I swim in psychologist waters. They are the last people on the freaking planet you want vetting applicants!

If you want an ocracy that might work, think about a random-ocracy. At least the government wouldn't be filled with corrupt individuals grasping for power.

This is more engineering but it came up on my recommended and it was a pretty interesting video. I hadn't seen those snatch blocks before.

Since we use cables in the gym it's interesting to know how pulleys work as well :)

It was mainly the first 8 minutes that was interesting in that video.

This one is more fun:

The joke is so lame, quick video.

Figured I would include Euler's number too:

James is one of my favorite Numberphiler, you can tell he has a brain that is working pretty quick on his shoulders. Also, he is on some drug too, can't tell in this video but in other videos you can. Eyes are the windows to the soul... Well eyes also indicate brain function :P

Drugs are money. Keeping them illegal keeps the money flowing to the established institutions, banks, governments, intelligence agencies, etc., that fund or control the politicians.

North Korea? Strict diet? Have you seen that fat little chunk (chink)they have as a leader?

Hello,
I was wanting to create this thread to share some number theory stuff that I found interesting. It will mainly be concepts from popular YouTube channels. Watch the video guys don't think it is "too mathy." It is about how the corporations will slowly but surely reduce the amount of product you are getting :p

First things first!

Weber's law <3

I want to start a fun discussion. What do you guys notice is getting less and less in your daily life?
Colgate?
Snickers?
Can you even think of them the same way?

Coca Cola halved the size of their bottle caps. I wonder how much they paid the fucking genius that came up with that one.

Jesus why racists everywhere?!

You know what Mister Johntt44? You sound like a hater!

Check out the latest pics of the great leader riding a white horse. I bet you want a white horse so bad HAHA. U JELLY!?

Did you know, that Kim Jun Un eats the perfect amount of food so that he doesn't ever have to poop? Because he eats the perfect amount, there is no waste. Cool huh?

Um...

"The North Korean leader is also apparently taking defensive measures to prevent intelligence agencies from trying to glean information about his health: He’s packed his own toilet.

The regime dispatched a commode to “deny determined sewer divers insights into to the supreme leader's stools,” The Chosunilbo, one of South Korea’s biggest circulated newspapers, reports.

It’s not unusual for the hermetic kingdom’s leader to travel with his own toilet in his infrequent travels."
