Old Ladies and Anavar

I am too on my first var cycle. Finishing my 3rd week.
There's been a high influx of female members, it's awesome!

So day 2 of 20mg/day was yesterday. I had been taking 10 mg just once a day in the morning for 4 weeks. I workout in the evenings after work and while it's probably too soon to see a difference in my lifts at 20 mg, I do feel the metabolic hum (that's the only way I know to describe it) after taking it in the evening. I'm also noticing more my midsection is getting more defined and I am leaning out a little bit. I'm also coming off a bulk so I don't know that the leaning out is due to the var. I'm pretty confident though I've put on muscle mass in my chest and arms and my glutes are looking better than I think they ever have. This is due to the var. I've been hip thrusting and glute bridging my ass off, figuratively speaking of course for about 6 weeks now but the var is making the changes more evident. (Before I started lifting I was a runner for years and years. 20-35 miles a week. Running does NOTHING for your body in terms of making it look better.)

Diet hasn't been awesome this week. BF's bday was this week (Ben & Jerry) and my future MIL was in town the day after (Pizza). Yesterday I had a lunch meeting with my mentee, which I tried to keep clean with sashimi, but the soy always gets me. Looking forward to more routine stuff this weekend.

Today is back day. I've kind of burned myself out on deadlifts. I have such a love-hate relationship with them. I'll see how they feel this evening. Friday nights at the gym are always pretty peaceful.

Oh yeah, I did have a dream I had a micro penis. I guess my subconscious is on alert for sides from the increased dosage.

I don't think you are imagining, var is known to target the mid section area... I guess that's where we need the most 'tightening' ...you're not the only one that has noticed that on var so you're not loosing it. lol

And your micro penis dream.... oh my... relax, I'm sure you'll be fine as you would notice those changes already...
 
Hello everyone - This is my first post. Lurked and read for a while before signing up and posting. I'm on my first cycle of anavar 10 mg/day. Tomorrow will make 4 weeks I've been on it. I've noticed some nice, subtle changes, but no leap in strength or very noticeable changes. I've had no sides except for oily skin and a few blemishes. At 48 I'm not sure how I feel about that :) Oh,I will add, that I seem a little bloated as well...and I've just spilled the beans that I'm ancient. So anavar I have is in 10 mg capsules and I'm toying with the idea of taking 20 mg/day instead of the 10mg. Currently taking just the one capsule 1x/day. Hoping to capture more results at a higher dose. Is dosing affected by age?

I've been lifting about a year and a half. Work out 5x/week. Two leg days - One ham/posterior chain and the other quad day, One Chest, Shoulder/Arm, and Back day.

I eat pretty clean - pescatarian diet 145 g P, 165 C, 45 F...although honestly I'm just really making sure I hit my protein. I'm coming off a bulk and trying to lean out at bit and calories total have been about 1300-1400/day.

Weight ? I have a thing about this. Like most women I spent half my adult life trying to get back to my birth weight. Last I weight I was 118 - up 3 lbs from my 'normal' 115 and I freaked out and my trainer told me to stop with the scale.

Usually I try to superset with ab or butt exercises on most days...I also frequently use negatives and pauses. It's sort of tedious to write out and I won't do it every set or every work out. It depends how strong/energetic I am. Like most everyone else I work full time during the day and get up really early for work.

Right now my workouts look like:

Great first post. If that is you in the avatar, WOW! You look phenomenal! We are about the same age, I have seen many women look that good at our age (or men for that matter). Keep up the great work.
 
Thanks Sampei. I think one benefit to getting older is I don't really obsess over food anymore. Idk of it's hormones or not but I'm fine with A piece of pizza or a scoop of ice cream and I'm done. Oh wait. Unless it's French fries. I will eat all of them. I even feel sorry for the ones left behind on the plate. So just forget everything I just wrote. Lol.
