Old Ladies and Anavar

Day 9 at 20 mg. Week 5 of cycle. Back Day. Switched up my routine a bit based on an article I read on T-Nation. (I'm addicted). Did rack pulls instead of DLs 4 x 185x10. Been burnt on the Deads so nice to mix it up a bit. Super-Setted with chin-ups which I've gotten eerily stronger at. Sets of 10 doable although a bit of a struggle. Set PR on cable row (80 lb) and Hip Thrusters (155x10). Also bent over row, wide grip lat pull-down, weighted back extensions.

I feel good about the progress my body as made. I have to remember I'm pushing 50. Still a little troubling when my shorts from last year are tight though. Mostly due to leg growth, but the button also came off :eek: the waist. Can I blame booty gains? Because I think I am. Stomach getting more defined. Still have a ways to go.

Leg day tomorrow, which is a killer and I go all out trying to kick my own ass.

Deads are super taxing, that's why I only do them once a week. It's good to have other alternatives like you're doing.

Also, I really need to start front squatting. It just feels so weird
Me, too. I tried a few weeks ago with just the bar and had a hard time because my forearms/wrists are not flexible enough. Have you tried out Zercher squats as an alternative? They also feel weird for me, lol.

Day 11 at 20 mg. week 5 of cycle. Chest day. Uneventful. No prs just more grind. Going on vacation 14-24. So working out on rest days until then.

Did you read T-Nation's post on busting plateaus? It worked for my bench. You get 40 reps at your 80% 1RM. Doesn't matter how many sets it takes you. 40 reps. You'll get it. I'm sure!! There are a million ways to skin this cat.
