Over 40 - AAS /TRT resource

Do you see any gains of strength and size while you are just keeping on trt dose?

Yes I definitely started to notice about 4 weeks in. Just started mast with it as well. First time. Not sure what to expect or how it’ll affect me. I’m not looking for a dramatic fast transformation at this time in my life. Slow and steady is fine with me as long as I can tell it’s working.

So I am 37 obviously know the feeling of exogenous test flowing in my veins and I hate the feeling is being normal. My current test is 336 and wondering if trt should be done at this point? I’m asking how you feel now on trt overall?

I feel really good almost every day! Great energy and always seem to be in a good mood.

Most Definetely! 336 is low. I know they have a normal range but, (normal for who?) I totally think you should do TRT today. It’s not magic but if you get a good MD it’s great to have that resource for bloodwork and health issues.

I agree. “Normal range” for the medical industry was determined by testing large groups of men and averaging out their results of where they were. Thats how normal range was determined. They’re all fucked up. The more you read about the whole medical industry, FDA, and big pharma the more you realize everything is just fucked up. Pills pills pills to treat symptoms. But that could be an entirely new thread. I feel great when my test is around 900. So thats my normal.

Definitely try. Also tell them your sex drive is down and your tired and it’s affecting your relationship. I had 650 and my doc prescribed 200mg every 2 weeks of Enanthate. Every doc is different(by the way, my doc is a female and she put me on test and viagra) pretty cool!

Hi, just seen this thread .

Was on TRT via a private clinic but for cost reasons have started to source here over the past few months

Prescribed treatment was

0.5ml Sustanon 250 weekly
3 x 500iu HCG weekly

I have since added in

2iu HGH Monday - Friday

Hey you old bastards ... I'm on about 700 mg Sust/week, 350 NPP/week, 50 anavar/day, and 500 hcg/week. Thinking of adding another compound for the next 8 weeks.

Was thinking DHB or Mast E ... any input?

Why are you doing HCG? No reason to do more than what you’re doing. If that’s you in the AVI you’re extremely out of shape. I hope you’re not pumping all that gear you in you at 30% bf. You’re gambling with your life. Get your diet in check! Not trying to be a dick but that’s plenty of gear you need to focus on diet and training.

Great thread here.
40+, trained from 16-32yrs, regret having stopped training for subsequent 10yrs, started again about 1.5 years ago. RX TRT along with HCG. Currently at 240lbs, 14% BF after a couple of cycles along with hgh in the last 1.5years. I found this forum to be very valuable resource and a great community looking out for the well being of its members in general. I try to share my struggles and experiences in case it helps a member of this great community. Fella seniors, keep working hard at improving yourselves and never give up as we all have have a great potential for making our world a better place.

Hcg is mostly to keep balls from shrinking. That was me a while ago. I'm between 10 to 12% body fat carrying 10 lbs water weight at the moment. Was going to change pic to gfs tits but they're all saggy and even I dont want to see them.

Go with the DHB, then you can let me know how it goes lol. Im looking to try DHB myself probably next cycle. Im running 500 test E week-50mg var day now. I don’t like running too many compounds at once but wish i had kickstarted with something with the test, didn’t start the var till week 8 and im only 5 days into it. I learned once again that I really don’t like running test by itself, i feel shitty. Next bulk, probably next fall, im going to get some DHB and run that with test and maby dball or A drol. I hear DHB is like tren without as many sides? Good luck.

how else would a Dr determine a normal range other than exactly how you described?
I think 900 is in the normal range I believe it is between 300 and 1000.
you cant go by how you feel on testosterone I feel great at 2500 but I cant say that's my normal range and its certainly not healthy.

You just made my point. Everyone is different and everyone has a different range of where their specific T should be to obtain the most health benefits. Lumping the entire human male race into the same level that some “doctors” came up with and wrote in a medical journal is just bs, like almost everything else in the medical industry.

your missing the point, everyone does not have a specific t level to be healthy, like I said I feel great at 2500 are you trying to tell me that because I feel great I will be healthy?

Late to the party here, but I am 42, on RX TRT. I do a blast or 2 per year. This has been one of the best resources for AAS info for me. Learned a ton, mostly by lurking and reading. Then trying various things to see what works best for me. Certainly not an authority or anything. At the same time, happy to contribute where possible.

My GP likes to see my test range 1200 or less. He's certainly disappointed at times but as long as my other labs come back gtg then he's ok right now.

Since this is a thread for older guys I'll heavily suggest that you ask for an EKG at your next annual physical to check heart health. Years of lifting and PED use can cause enlargement and if it's pronounced enough it will show up on your EKG.

I've known 3 guys in their 40's that looked awesome, seemed healthy and all died suddenly of heart related issues that no one was aware of because they weren't getting checked.
