I've also heard there are benefits to getting the hamstring pumped and primed before squatting. I used to do it, but I've gotten bad about just jumping right into my workouts and not doing as much prep work as I should .Hey guys I haven’t been on here in a while due to life shit. I know your issue isn’t knee related but, doing hamstring curls before squats and dead’s is honestly a game changer. Took that from John Meadows and it is life changing. Squats feel more in the groove and powerful, and activation for dead’s is off the charts. Something I think everyone should try 100%. I’ve been doing it before every leg day and my legs have also shot up in size.
Damn. Squat gotta be getting close to 600223lbs
Comp squat 410x2, 445x2, 480x1 (2 just wasn't there today), 410x2, 410x2, 410x2
Deficit deadlift paused right off the floor 405x3, 405x3, 405x3, 405x3, 425x3
Front squat 275x3, 305x3, 335x3 PR, 300x3, 300x3
Trap bar seal rows 85x15, 85x15
Hamstring curls 3x15
Damn. Squat gotta be getting close to 600
That sounds killer if you can get that number in maybe just a belt/wrapsI think in sleeves I'm around 515ish, wraps 565ish.

So then 600lb squat is in sight. Keep grinding it out!Best ever with a belt and wraps was 550lbs. I think I'm a little past that now.
That must been an experience indeed!Just got back from out of state and forgot my gym clothes. Ended up just doing seven speed singles on deadlift and some reverse band overhead press. It didn't feel right lifting in jeans and work boots, so I'm gonna try to make it up in the morning.

I was nuts pounding out a few sets on bench one time when wearing my slacks and polo...forgot my gym clothes too one time. Sure raised enough eyebrows haha. There are a couple guys at my gym that do this. I think they're nuts. I could NEVER lift in jeans.

Also the work boots made for some instability too I bet. I tried to deadlift in boat shoes...fail lol.It was my first and last time. Setting up for deadlift was almost impossible.

Bet you raised a lot of eyebrows haha. I've done some deads in work clothes and I've gotten the stinkeye for that!I was just on vacation in Florida and stopped at a decent sized gym in Fort Myers. I forgot to pack gym clothes so I went in my beach outfit, flip flops and all. Ha. People were probably thinking I was just a joke until I started pulling beltless reps of 495. Lol
Forgot my gym shoes a couple weeks ago had to workout in steel toes but had my black bball shorts and white shirt Sadly where I live no one batted an eyeJust got back from out of state and forgot my gym clothes.
