Perrin Aybara's Journey to an Elite Powerlifting Total

Hey guys I haven’t been on here in a while due to life shit. I know your issue isn’t knee related but, doing hamstring curls before squats and dead’s is honestly a game changer. Took that from John Meadows and it is life changing. Squats feel more in the groove and powerful, and activation for dead’s is off the charts. Something I think everyone should try 100%. I’ve been doing it before every leg day and my legs have also shot up in size.
I've also heard there are benefits to getting the hamstring pumped and primed before squatting. I used to do it, but I've gotten bad about just jumping right into my workouts and not doing as much prep work as I should .

Just got back from out of state and forgot my gym clothes. Ended up just doing seven speed singles on deadlift and some reverse band overhead press. It didn't feel right lifting in jeans and work boots, so I'm gonna try to make it up in the morning.
That must been an experience indeed!

There are a couple guys at my gym that do this. I think they're nuts. I could NEVER lift in jeans.

I was nuts pounding out a few sets on bench one time when wearing my slacks and polo...forgot my gym clothes too one time. Sure raised enough eyebrows haha.

Can't picture anyone squatting in jeans...they'd rip most likely.

I was just on vacation in Florida and stopped at a decent sized gym in Fort Myers. I forgot to pack gym clothes so I went in my beach outfit, flip flops and all. Ha. People were probably thinking I was just a joke until I started pulling beltless reps of 495. Lol
Bet you raised a lot of eyebrows haha. I've done some deads in work clothes and I've gotten the stinkeye for that!
