Perrin Aybara's Journey to an Elite Powerlifting Total

You have any upcoming meets planned Perrin?

I'm hoping for middle of the year or a little after. Just back to doing bench for like a month or so now after about six months of no benching. Squat and deadlift both going great, but my max bench is probably only around 350-365lbs at the moment. I'm really wanting a 1600+ total at my next meet.

Do you have any pics in this log?

Yeah, just been awhile since I posted any. Can probably put something up soon though.

219lbs

One arm dumbbell overhead press 100lbs for 5x3

Barbell hip raises 500x8, 455x8, 88lb kettlebell for 20

Suitcase hold 88lb kettlebell for 45 seconds, 115lb barbell for 45 seconds, 165lb barbell for 30 seconds

Side raises 15lbs for 3x15

Super close grip pull ups bodyweight for 10, +10lbs for 10, bodyweight for 10

Also had made some adjustments to diet recently and hadn't recalculated everything until yesterday and realized I'd only been eating 3000 calories a day for the last week or two. Being in a massive deficit explains so much weight lost so fast. Had some extra food last night and this morning to make up for it and will be adding more calories in this week.

Under 4000cals and I begin losing weight.

^^^ the reason I have 2 boxes of pop tarts in my gym bag :p

Fuck man, it's not fair. With no cardio, I usually hover around 3200 for maintenance. But I weigh a lot less now, so that number is going to go down.

Pitfalls of working in an office...

Hey brother, I haven't been on here enough lately but it's good to see you're still kicking ass. Sorry if you said this already recently and I missed it, but are you on blast or cruise right now?

I'm still jealous of that deadlift lol

Yes, be three years this September. Currently running 200mg a week of test cyp. Started once a week pinning for the first time in my life this month. So far it seems about the same. I'll send you the 610x1 deadlift video, too.

Dude, fuck you... I'm hitting 2600cal to maintain a deficit.

I say that with love.

Jaymax's calorie intake is the only one that makes me feel better for myself.

I don't think I'd have the energy to go to work every day on 2600 calories, lol. I don't know how Jay gets out of bed right now.

That's exactly where I'm at. High metabolism plus physically demanding job equals lots of food. I just had two pieces of tilapia with three baked potatoes and green beans for supper and call that a cutting meal, lol.
