Perrin Aybara's Journey to an Elite Powerlifting Total

206lbs this morning

Bench continues to feel great. 315lbs moving quick and easy. Squats not feeling great today, not sure why. The bench with chains still a work in progress. Gym chains are way too heavy and too long. I had them folded into triple with four carabiners to get the length somewhat right and it feels very heavy. Went to the hardware store the other day to buy chain, but would've been $200 for what I need and I can't justify that. Probably find some old junk chain somewhere and get it cut eventually.

Diet wise keeping calories around maintenance since I'm cruising. 3800-4200 calories a day depending on if a gym day or not. Not really doing the calorie cycling at the moment, so beyond having a post workout shake daily calories remain about the same.

Supplement wise everything is the same. Might eventually drop the MK 677 back to 15mg because my hands are getting so numb at night it's waking me up sometimes.

For the first time in the two years I've had this job I forgot to pack my sandwich today. Packed the rest of my daily food luckily and only forgot the sandwich. So had to change up my meal order and I'm eating the sandwich now that I'm home.

Damn I've done that but because I'm driving around in the same city as I live for my job, I'll rush back home once I realize and just hustle to pick up the lost time. I'm starving every 2 hours and thankfully I can eat anytime I need to but forgetting my food for throughout the work day I just can't do it. I don't ever eat takeout so not sure what I'd grab in a pinch anyway.

I didn't realize till well into my work day an hour from home in the company truck. I don't do takeout either, in a pinch I'd get something like a tuna salad sandwich at a gas station if I absolutely had to.

Yeah, eating out is tough.
Everywhere you go, it's all just Carbs and sugars.
I always take...

2 meals (Usually a protein, carb and a veggie)
3 protein bars (Just in case)
Protein shake
2 Litres Water

Usually gets me through the day.

I get PISSED if I forgot my lunch or cant eat properly

Yeah, I take lunch plus two shakes with two small portions of something to go with plus plenty of water. Three meals basically. In the two years I've had this job that was the first time I'd ever forgotten any of my daily food. I'm extremely well organized about my daily routine probably borderline OCD really.

Sounds one step up from prison food. Breakfast doesn't sound too bad though.

Just a heads up for you guys that don’t eat oout... you can usually order steamed chicken and broccoli from any Chinese place. It’s saved me before

We don't actually get breaks, at most it would have to be something already ready that I could eat while driving. When I'm on the road I do get the vegetable cups from Loves sometimes, raw broccoli, carrots, and grape tomatoes.

Lol yeah
Your "Easy day" is my all time PR hahaha
And you're lighter tha ln me.

Solid motivation brother!

EDIT
Hiws the hip?

So far so good since switching back to conventional. No pain whatsoever from those or squats, seems to have mostly been sumo deadlift causing it.

So I'm thinking I'll finish out this program conventional or at least until it has me maxing on everything in about six weeks. I'd like to see if I can't set some PRs on a cruise dose. Maybe 510-515x1 squat, 410-415x1 bench, and 625-635 conventional deadlift. If I can hit those numbers cruising I'll be in a good position to put up my goal numbers at a meet next blast.
