Weighted pull ups are lifeNice. With a band is better, but this is a start. Best way to use the band is run it across the safeties in a power rack and stand on it if the rack has a pull up bar. Then you can adjust the resistance.

Bro, I couldn't do a single pull up when I was weighing 140. Ain't no shame in that. Point is ur trying and giving it ur all. Once u have achieved bw pull ups and move on to weighted, it will be so fucking awesome for u. But it's a double edged sword. U feel powerful and mighty but the minute u come off that bar and release tension, it hits you like a ton of bricks. U can ask @weighted chinup ! Usually mobility and explosiveness isn't there as much. Olympic lifters are in the lowest % to get injured actually. They spend so much time on proper form and mobility and stretching that it's hard for their training to injure one of them. Unlike powerlifting and bodybuilding though there's only a short window of true "prime" for that sport at that level.I'm assuming forced retirement due to injuries?
