Progress/training log part 2:getting beary serious

Unfortunately some of us are still in the fat and weak stage hahahahahaha
Bro, I couldn't do a single pull up when I was weighing 140. Ain't no shame in that. Point is ur trying and giving it ur all. Once u have achieved bw pull ups and move on to weighted, it will be so fucking awesome for u. But it's a double edged sword. U feel powerful and mighty but the minute u come off that bar and release tension, it hits you like a ton of bricks. U can ask @weighted chinup ! Same with weighted dips

True dat, i'll get it eventually, just gotta keep plugging along haha.

Most I've ever done was 70+200bw when I was on deca test winny cycle. Felt like a monster but I'm assuming cns? Would be completely fucked and it would literally take me at least 5 min to recover

Edit: my entire body would feel achy during that time

His knees on the last two clean and jerks made me cringe man! I wish I got into it at that age that's how you make champions.

Well hell those legs are only about as thick as the bar lmfao.

Bro those guys are retired by the time they are 26. Oly lifters careers are usually 18-26 the oldest guy I've seen compete in Olympics was 32 or something and the commentators were calling him a dying acient bred lol

I'm assuming forced retirement due to injuries?

Usually mobility and explosiveness isn't there as much. Olympic lifters are in the lowest % to get injured actually. They spend so much time on proper form and mobility and stretching that it's hard for their training to injure one of them. Unlike powerlifting and bodybuilding though there's only a short window of true "prime" for that sport at that level.

AS long as you are taking in those macros it could tell you that image.jpegFor calories and wouldn't make a difference because those macros add up to your 2615
