Progress/training log part 3: Operation retard strengthstrength

I just hope i can keep it from pouring out blood. It's one of those deals where it's probably gonna keep opening back up before it heals completely. Gonna have to go buy some gauze.
Id wrap it in gauze before lifting and change afterwards don't want a nasty ass infection from the weights.
 
Pretty solid workout tonight.

1.banded paused bench press 6x3 8RPE 135lb+ green band (50-120lb)

2.flat DB bench 60lb×20 80lbx10 90lbx6 100lbx3

3.incline DB flys 4x10-15 50lb SS tri pushdown 4x10-15 150lb

4.dips 4xamrap SS machine dips 4x10 130lb

5.4 rounds HIIT

Good workout tonight, haven't done bajded bench in a while so decided to do that for my main bench movement.

Haven't tried dips since i was alot heavier and it was still hurting my shoulders but they felt good tonight even though i was only getting about 4-5 reps per set.
 
Underwhelming deadlift session today

1.deadlift 6x3 8rpe worked up to 425 and hit 9rpe after 2 reps. Think my lower body was still just fried from last squat workout + addition of cardio lately, wasn't feeling great today so did 6x3 7RPE 315lb beltless

2.pullups ss with assisted pullups just did as many pullups as i could, which is 1 lol, and then put my band up and did an amrap with that around 8-10

3.pendlay rows 5x5 185lb superset with cable straight bar curls 10-15 reps

4.one arm DB rows 4x10 70lb superset with alternating bicep curls 4x10-15

5.4 rounds HIIT

Just wasn't there today on deadlifts but other than that not a bad workout

2.side lateral raise 4x20 15lb
3.rear lateral raise 4x15 15lb
4.DB shoulder press 40lbx20 55lb x10 55lbx10 40lbx15
5.4 rounds HIIT

Pretty good workout for me, killer workout for the little woman. She squatted 135lb for a nice pr, and it only looked like maybe 8.5RPE super fuckin proud of her.
 
Did bench and deadlifts sat sunday respectively. Worked a full day each with one of the installers to install an overhead polycarbonate system that got cancelled during the week due to weather so i took it pretty easy cuz i was just beat to death, but i couldn't really turn down the overtime plus additional field experience from working with our best lead installer.

Still getting workouts in but haven't been very motivated, it always gets like this in the winter, sick of the fucking rain and not having sufficient sunlight on me, lost 2lbs the last few weeks down to 229lb this morning so it seems that the added cardio is doing its job without having to actually cut any calories so far so thats goood.

Just feeling bleh in general but i am still plugging away, still here lol

It's a common thing to supplement up northeast. Winter destroys our d levels.

Secondly, you're not the first person to tell me that, does it actually seem to help? Because i get seriously fuckon bummed out in the winter and just have zero energy.

They say it does but i have no clue. I take it basically late fall and into spring. It's dirt cheap so fuck it.

Every time I go to my primary she tells me that it's low, even when I am supplementing. Go figure. I think she owns stock in it.

And don't tell me you have a boyfriend. That's nothing a few wine coolers and sexy talk can't cure.

Well big news guys, just signed up for my first meet today, it's in about 2 months so i have not a whole lot of prep time but i needed to sign up for one. I think one of the things lately that has been keeping me down is i haven't had a real goal which makes it too easy to not eat right, not get enough sleep, miss workouts etc so i really needed something to focus on to keep me pn track so i found an amateur meet in a couple months to keep me on track.

Pretty excited and nervous as shit but more excited haha
