So, tell me what we should be looking for from a source in the VET process?
The vet process is different everytime depending on who is involved in the thread... Probably the most common trend on Meso is wearing the source down until he loses professionalism and starts to slip.
In general, if a source complies with every reasonable request and answers every question we're off to a good start.
Unfortunately, this source does not have a long reputation to track and only being on Reddit gives me a bit of pause. Time will tell I suppose... I appreciate the fact he's complied with all requests so far but sometimes that's just not enough.
Also if he did say email me whos to say it wasnt le requesting just to get the email?
I've tested a few sources just to see if they'd take a PM order, I've always been given an email thankfully... LE can easily get the email but that doesn't put me or a source in China in any danger.
BTW, the article about Reddit giving over user data should be read in full in case anyone didn't make it past the headline...
Reddit Reveals How Often It Hands Over Your Info to The Government
Of all the thousands of people that are on Reddit, they handed over user data 32 times... 7 of which were emergency requests that are submitted when authority's believe a user's life may be in immediate danger. I won't rewrite the whole article here but these are a few perspective points. All other users were notified about the situation prior to them submitting the user data unless they were forbidden from doing so.
Reddit is a huge board and AAS are a rather small part of it as far as I know... I'm not saying I condone sources on Reddit but I also just don't buy that we're all in danger by one of them sourcing there and then trying to get in the door here.
