This is true. However Bigguy, these guys are gonna fight you tooth and nail because they do not understand. Yes a hair or piece of filter is a big deal. But for what it is worth I am far more concerned with any microbiological contaminants, which is easy to deal with.
For those of you that just wanna toss your gear, please don’t do that. I’ll filter and mass spec that shit and pin it any day of the week. Feel free to send it my way.
I'm certainly not defending hair or other crap found in vials from ppl, it's shocking and proper bathtub brewing.
My point was, heat won't kill the the hormone and will sterilise all the crap that's floating in it if people still want to jab it

If you read my post then you would know that I said nothing about disagreeing with heat as a sterilizing source. I said filitering removes nonbiological contamination. So for the homebrewer who’s buying raws from god knows where the filtering process is the best sort of protection against BIOLOGICAL and NONBIOLOGICAL contamination. To just use heat is foolish. This isn’t pharma protocols or environments. It’s somebody’s kitchen or garage.
Again, I would suggest you learn the difference between objective and subjective data.

I use 20ml vials and draw with a 21g pin. My stoppers end up a little chewed up. What's your opinion drawing from outside the little bullseye on the stopper? You think it'll make any difference?

@Oldschool is right here. I use 21g to draw with and insert my draw needles along the circle on the stopper. This gives a lot more area to insert through which almost guarantees you're not going to hit the same spot over and over and chew up the rubber.
