I read Eyes of the Dragon, but I'm not sure if it was before or after I read Dark Tower for the first time. I know it ties in heavily. I've tried to read most of the ones that are related closely.

Oh boy, I know I'm late to this week's Stephen King fan club discussion group but the talisman and black house were awesome. Particularly black house, ultra creepy imo.

So been a crazy few days and I'm having trouble keeping up with my normal life let alone my meso life but here's my contributation so I don't seem like I died.

Been working 16+ hours past 3 days have hit the home gym for 2 lifts a night
Wednesday
Squat 365 3x3
Bench 255 3x3
Warm up sets only but no time for my usual warm up or routine and stretch so just doing it as therapy so keeping the weights in the 7-8 RPE range
Thursday
Deadlift 455 3x3
Military press 95 3x12 (never been so easy but I guess that's cause I usually do these last when I'm exhausted)
No stretch or anything
Friday (today)
Squat 135x10 225x10 315x8 225x8 135x16
Bench 185 4x12 135 1x23

I'm really not following any program or anything and I know my meet is 2 weeks away now but the iron is just end of day therapy for me right now so I don't care about the weights or the sets or reps I was just doing what made me feel good.
I have two more rough days ahead of me but it should calm come Monday.

Don't want to talk about diet couldn't log it and couldn't tell you what it was but I'm doubting I got more then 100g of protein each day and probably 400-600g of carbs defiantly above maintenance as I'm not losing weight even on the DNP but psychologically I couldn't handle a deficit this week and I know I can't do it tomorrow or Sunday. Diet will begin again on Monday and will be hyper strict.

Jesus....120 pounds lighter than me and shitting all over my deadlifts, impressive.
 
Well I'm fucked. Now let me tell you why, just opened an email from my boss giving me a heads up that I will be getting drug tested Friday.... Last time I was tested PEDs was apart of the test but 2x ago they weren't so it's a gamble if it is but either way it doesn't matter as the long esters are in me. But in saying that I'm only 2 weeks in and I'm already getting an incredible appetite so I think I'm going to drop the EQ I can't be this hungry all the time so I'm gonna up my test to 500mg ew and just run test until I'm done the DNP then throw in tren ace and anavar.

If this drug test does turn out to test PEDs I will be taken off of the new team I was just put on meaning no weight restrictions and I'll have to claim I have a "problem" and get "clean" not a big deal id be able to finish off my cycle then finish pct and just have to take a long break which is my plan anyways, probably won't do a cycle again for a little while as I'm worried I wouldn't be able to have kids if I cycle to much.
 
Just did some catching up man. You got an awesome log. Very informative. DNP has always had my attention for a cut. Kind of a chicken though seems really harsh but like you said slow steps. Hopefully they don't test ya for PEDs this time. Kind of odd it's not consistent but best of luck on that

Last time I was specifically tested for PEDs long story short was I was consistently out performing a coworker and he put in a complaint that I was on PEDs so my boss told me and I had 3 months notice before all the papers came through to get me tested so it was a none issue. everyone gets drug tests so I'm thinking its probably just that but never know. Nothing to fret about though. Thanks man hoping my log is somewhat entertaining and informative for the few that follow. DNP is going good so far going to up it to 500mg starting tomorrow. It is defiantly not a screw around drug and I'm drinking 9+L of water a day and still don't piss clear.

Beary sorry to hear. My job does random UA's (had 2 in the last week*) but they have to special request to test for PEDs. I got tested once but it was after a prop cycle and I ended up clear. Hoping for the best.

If they were to really test I would have a lot of AAS and every pain killer known to man in me.

That's what I should do just go in and have every compound known to man in me I betcha I could get a year to "clean up" my "problem" if I did lol. But ya I think they have to have a reason to test PEDs but I don't know the ins and outs of the HR department so could be wrong
 
Few things for this post. Found out it's just the regular drug test just piss in a jar and swab under the tongue so won't have an issue to pass unless I have a lot of poppyseed beagles (legit someone failed for heroin in our department because of this reason, he got retested 2 days later and pass so no biggy)

Started DNP at 500mg yesterday one dose at 7am and one at 1pm and I have been sweating like crazy and drank 11L of water still no clear piss looks damn near radioactive. But I haven't been feeling lethargic at all or been having and other issues besides sweat so guess it's going good. I'm only going to be weighing myself every 4 days now so I don't get discouraged or see that I've dropped more then expected and relax on my diet at all.

I've dropped the EQ cause hunger pains were getting real only 2 weeks into cycle so can't imagine what it would be like fully kicked in. So right now I've upped test to 375mg ew and keeping deca at 200 for joints then when done DNP I'll be adding tren and anavar in.

Today is also the first day in the gym were I've felt the test helping out so I hit er pretty hard today.

Squats 385 3x3 then 225 2x12 high bar
Leg extensions single leg 90lb 3x12 then right into double leg no breaks 90lbx12 70lbx16 50lbx13 30lbx7
Competition pause bench 275 3x3 then 135x21
Cable flys 30lb 4x8 with a pinch pause
Rack pulls below knee 495 4x4 superset with lay pull downs 120lb 3 seconds down 1 second pause 2 seconds up 4x12
Back extensions BW 3x16
Big ol stretch
Cool down on elliptical 10 mins.
 
So I ended up not working today and being the person I am I was bored as all hell, so I went for a swim. Hard as hell to swim with any sort of a pace with DNP but it was nice I took the cooler pool so I was able to do cardio without melting my balls. Swam for about 25 mins at about 2/3 my normal pace but it was still me doing something. Got outa the pool and went on the stairclimber in the Rec centre did 15mins on that and decided I wanted to squat 225 for 2 sets of as many reps as possible as sort of a double squat day and finish my night with a pump. So I go up to this guy on the rack squating 225 perfect. Ask if I could work in and his responds was "sorry I don't want to have to take off plates between sets" this guys probably 6 foot 240 doin sets of 5 or 6 with depth so no problem there but I guess I look like I don't lift in my XL Walmart plain t-shirt and Nike shorts with the shirt tucked in cause it's as long as a dress on me. So I felt insulted and told him don't worry I'm using 225. Motivated as I possibly could be cranked out a set of 21 then a set of 16 and left. Mother fucker trying to make me feel small. I was gonna put this in the "what pisses me off thread" but figured I'd place it here cause it's also about my training for the day.

Once upon a time I was a triathlete and lifeguard so it's just muscle memory. I suck compared to what I use to and if I stop kicking like a mad man I sink to the bottom like a lead ball.
 
Went out for a 3minute run this morning then a car almost hit me and my dog so he was freaked right out so went back home. Making up for it at the gym now.

Going to the Chiropracter today to lossen up my calf as I think I've pulled it and gonna see what he can do for my elbow as it still hurts on the medial side when I set up for low bar unless I voodoo floss it.

With being on cycle and DNP I thought I'd be further along but I weighed in at 191 post workout with having drank 3L of water and having two bowls of cereal so probably have lost weight. I think the test is starting to fill me in a bit and giving me intramuscular water retention.

No matter what you take or how hard you work it doesn't come over night. You'll get to where you want just don't stop pushing.

Thanks man, ya I keep thinking I should be further along but my numbers are still rockin and I am getting leaner just not much lighter and that's what bothers me cause my goal is weighing less not just getting leaner. Although one day I hope I'm a lean 205 to compete in the 93kg catagory :p

We can all do whatever is we want. It's just a matter of how much we are willing to sacrifice getting there

Went for a jog with my dog and my folks dogs as I'm taking care of them
Squats 365 6x3 225x8
Deadlift 455 6x2 225+120lb band 8x2 speed work
Overload bench with slingshot 225 2x16 trying to work my triceps at my sticking point and my spot is on vacation so couldn't do block training, this worked way better then expected and if you have a slingshot I highly reccomend doing some volume work with it.
Pull ups BW+45 5x5

So new in life, well my dad starting going to the golds gym about 2 months ago and I helped him design sorta a program easy to follow just something to get him back into it a bit, mostly machine work and cable stuff. Anyways hes making some pretty damn good progress going 4days a week and getting his strength back. He now wants me to go to the gym with him so I can teach him how to squat bench and deadlift which is awesome so I think I'm going to cancel my gym, I've got to drive an extra 20 mins each way to get to golds but my pops is gonna pay for a 2month trial for me before I leave so gym will be free and I won't get bothered by the people at my gym anymore cause No one will know me. Now I realize that has nothing to do with anything but here's the thing, my dad is one of the only people that knows I use AAS and he's fine with it, never did it himself even though he was one hell of an athlete in his day playing major league hockey. My issue is I think if he works out with me he's going to either A see how well I progress and want to partake or B get discouraged because he doesn't progress as fast. I would rather A then B for sure but i also want him to be in the gym for a good while again before he starts this life. He isn't unfit by any means standing 5'10 and 200lb at 55y/o and still plays hockey 2x a week dancing circles around everyone else on the ice (ages 22-55 him being the oldest and most guys being 40) so it's not his fitness but his inexperience. If he does want to start up how long do you think I should keep him off before helping him out?

Could always suggest to him to check out his levels if he wants to indulge. At 55 maybe he's ready to look into TRT... If he mentions it you can send him on that route first and then down the road maybe it can evolve into a real cycle and by that time perhaps it'll be good timing.
