I read Eyes of the Dragon, but I'm not sure if it was before or after I read Dark Tower for the first time. I know it ties in heavily. I've tried to read most of the ones that are related closely.
You'd like The Talisman and Black House if you haven't read them already. Co authored by Peter Straub.
Oh boy, I know I'm late to this week's Stephen King fan club discussion group but the talisman and black house were awesome. Particularly black house, ultra creepy imo.
So been a crazy few days and I'm having trouble keeping up with my normal life let alone my meso life but here's my contributation so I don't seem like I died.
Been working 16+ hours past 3 days have hit the home gym for 2 lifts a night
Wednesday
Squat 365 3x3
Bench 255 3x3
Warm up sets only but no time for my usual warm up or routine and stretch so just doing it as therapy so keeping the weights in the 7-8 RPE range
Thursday
Deadlift 455 3x3
Military press 95 3x12 (never been so easy but I guess that's cause I usually do these last when I'm exhausted)
No stretch or anything
Friday (today)
Squat 135x10 225x10 315x8 225x8 135x16
Bench 185 4x12 135 1x23
I'm really not following any program or anything and I know my meet is 2 weeks away now but the iron is just end of day therapy for me right now so I don't care about the weights or the sets or reps I was just doing what made me feel good.
I have two more rough days ahead of me but it should calm come Monday.
Don't want to talk about diet couldn't log it and couldn't tell you what it was but I'm doubting I got more then 100g of protein each day and probably 400-600g of carbs defiantly above maintenance as I'm not losing weight even on the DNP but psychologically I couldn't handle a deficit this week and I know I can't do it tomorrow or Sunday. Diet will begin again on Monday and will be hyper strict.
Jesus....120 pounds lighter than me and shitting all over my deadlifts, impressive.
