Rodgerthat trying to pick heavy things up.

Sorry to hear about the job, you got anything else lined up?

On the bright side a permabulk lifestyle is fantastic for gainz. Can I expect to see you compete in the 242's in the next year?

Ya still got a job where I currently am but am looking into some other things more career wise. Also debating moving back to Vancouver area and working with my brother for a business we started a while back and make my own hours and workout more. It's a toss up right now I'll figure it out.

@Perrin Aybara im planning to compete in the 205lb catagory in my fed and possibly if things are rolling well then in September maybe be in the 198lb class with the ol rob mister and go toe to toe  and get my ass wooped lol.

Bwhahahaha. I don't know about an getting your ass wooped but I know that would sure put some extra pressure on the both of us to train a little harder. That would be a blast if you asked me. I thought about training a little heavier to help break some sticking points for a few months and very very slowly drop the weight and keep the strength.

If it works out finically for me I'll let you know ASAP so you know if there's competition from me. I'm planning to probably get up to about 210 obviously more fluffy then you are then work my way back to about 198 during sheiko peak while on cycle. Be a blast but I'd have to significantly bring up my bench you got about 100lb on me for bench and 50 for squat.

I was thinking of just pounding some food the next couple weeks and try training at 215-220. Then drop about 7lbs a month for the last 3 months working up to the meet.

Sorry to hear about the job Rodger, but i always believed these thing happen for a reason and in the end youll be better off. Hope things work out for ya bud!!

Be another 8-10 hours before I hit the gym today but I'm planning on it. More time for training and I can try and break a personal best of 205lb body weight. Hoping I can be 195-200 and 12% by this time next year, currently 189 and 13-15% but I'm trying to do about 5k calories a day now and Saturday I'm going to try the rocks 10k challenge as a bet from a friend :D

10k challenge holy fuck. Make a meso thread about that lmao. Get everyone in on it.

And you've got it bro. Determination is all it takes. Put your heart to it and no worries watch the magic happen

This is @Thenewera workout that I told him I'd do today and did. Tried to do the same weights as you but just different reps for my personal preference and such anyways here it is
Incline bench 95x8 135x6 185x4 225x5 225x5 225x7 185x6
Cable incline cross press:? Didn't know what these were so I did incline dumbbell press cause maybe that's what it is but with cables? Anyways I do 80lb 4x12
SS1: bicep cable ez bar curl: did regular ez bar curl instead 80lb 4x10
SS1: incline db flyes: 40x10 40x10 40x10
SS2: barbell land mine press: 75lb 4x8
SS2: dumbbell iso hammer curl: 45lb 4x24 (12 each arm don't know if iso curls are counted with each rep or each rep for each arm dunno)
SS3: pec dec flyes: 205 3x12
SS3: hanging ez bar preacher curl:
65x12 55x12 45x16
BURNOUT
seated cable press 3xfailure
•Did bench press instead sorry 135x27 135x19
DB iso hammer curls - run rack -
60x6 55x6 50x5 45x5 40x6 30x7 (35s were being used and I didn't wanna wait) 25x6 20x4 15x11 and done.

Thanks TNE for the workout I'm sure it's great for bodybuilding but I felt unnatural as if I was in a Chinese techno club as I was uncomfortable and didn't want to once I started but I got a hell of a pump and it did push me to do something I don't usually do and I'm always game to try new things for workouts. Starting tomorrow though I'm back onto my program I layed out minus squating everyday still working on the quad issue.

Weighed 189 this morning eating about 4-5k a day trying to get fluffy! 220 is the Goal to train at then I'll do a slow cut and maybe be of half decent physique at 198ish come September.

Edit: also I don't know if anyone else saw but super training gym made a limited edition 10 year anniversary get strong or die trying rebook lite 2.0 shoe for powerlifting and I was able to scoop up a pair in the promo (very limited quantity) so those are on order and we will see how they fair against chucks, sabos and if I end up using them or just have them

Glad you liked it, nice bench numbers, volume is king you damn bear... When will you learn!!! Jk.. Go lift heavy again damnit. Edit- I knew you would change a few things, no biggie. Glad you liked it for the most part. Well aside from the awkward feelings of tearing a muscle apart and beating t instead of grunting once and calling it a day

things feel unnatural but i got my workout done. My quad pain is almost all gone now just minor issues while I squatted, yes I SQUATTED!!!!!! 95lb but still it's a squat and it went up and down quick. Did 4 sets of 4 for squats with 95lb just to feel it. Will be adding 10-20lb a day on squats and going to start squatting everyday pain dependent. I'm going to stick to high bar no belt no sleeves and flat shoes until I get up around 275-315ish then I'll start adding in my gear again.

Today's workout

385 deadlift 3x3
315 pause deadlift 2x3
Pull up BW 4x8
Bent over row 135 3x12
Military shoulder press 95 4x8
Shrugs 275 4x16
Back extensions 2x16
Hammer curl 40lb 3x12
Bicep curl 40lb 3x8
Long stretch and serious work on my splits as I can't do them anymore and haven't practiced for a while so it upset me, I like my flexibility.

Here are some videos of my mediocre workout:

Glad your back at it brother. That's a good looking workout.

Yesterday I squatted 115 for 4x4
That's all yesterday was (thank god for the garage gym)

Today's workout
Squats 135 4x4 (gonna keep increasing by 20lb feeling good)
Leg extensions single leg 50lb 4x16 (it's light to avoid pain)
Bench press 7RPE 235 5,4,3,2,1
incline bench 155 3x8
Dips bw 3x12
Cable fly 25lb 2x10
Cable fly down 20lb 2x10
Cable lifts 17.5lb 3x10
Tricep vbar pushdown 85lb 4x12
Tricep double rope pushdown 30lb 3x16

Long stretch working on a tight calve with voodoo floss and hip flexibility.

Keeping my workouts light and slowly raising the weights kind of like a linear program but with a twist (twist comes later)
Feeling good about the squats little pain but no pain no gain right. Everyone looks at me funny making painful faces squatting so light considering 1 month ago they watched me rep 315 for 12 no issue:p I'll be back to that in no time I'm surety ouch so not too upset about this anymore.

In life news, think I'm going to move back to honkouver and work on the business with my older brother. I'll have more time for training and everyday life and make better money. Feel like if I just stay in my current position I'm not moving forward in life and I'm not one for sitting around and letting time pass
