things feel unnatural but i got my workout done. My quad pain is almost all gone now just minor issues while I squatted, yes I SQUATTED!!!!!! 95lb but still it's a squat and it went up and down quick. Did 4 sets of 4 for squats with 95lb just to feel it. Will be adding 10-20lb a day on squats and going to start squatting everyday pain dependent. I'm going to stick to high bar no belt no sleeves and flat shoes until I get up around 275-315ish then I'll start adding in my gear again.

Long stretch and serious work on my splits as I can't do them anymore and haven't practiced for a while so it upset me, I like my flexibility.

Yesterday I squatted 115 for 4x4
That's all yesterday was (thank god for the garage gym)

Squats 135 4x4 (gonna keep increasing by 20lb feeling good)
Leg extensions single leg 50lb 4x16 (it's light to avoid pain)
Bench press 7RPE 235 5,4,3,2,1
incline bench 155 3x8
Dips bw 3x12
Cable fly 25lb 2x10
Cable fly down 20lb 2x10
Cable lifts 17.5lb 3x10
Tricep vbar pushdown 85lb 4x12
Tricep double rope pushdown 30lb 3x16

Long stretch working on a tight calve with voodoo floss and hip flexibility.

Keeping my workouts light and slowly raising the weights kind of like a linear program but with a twist (twist comes later)
Feeling good about the squats little pain but no pain no gain right. Everyone looks at me funny making painful faces squatting so light considering 1 month ago they watched me rep 315 for 12 no issue:p I'll be back to that in no time I'm surety ouch so not too upset about this anymore.


In life news, think I'm going to move back to honkouver and work on the business with my older brother. I'll have more time for training and everyday life and make better money. Feel like if I just stay in my current position I'm not moving forward in life and I'm not one for sitting around and letting time pass

Nice workout! Do you have long arms or somethin? I fell like i always gotta drop my ass hella low to get a proper grip, of course i have pretty long legs tho.

Ya I've got a long wingspan for my body plus I shrunk an inch a couple years back making my arms that much longer compared to my torso. Deadlift is definitely what my body was built for.

The gym is pretty legit has everything but a stair master, unfortunately this is my regular gym and it's kind of annoying working out there because everyone wants to talk and trainers send people to me when they have powerlifting questions. My membership is done in May so I'll be all at golds from then on which is also pretty legit and has stair masters and pool and suanas too.
 
Today workout
Attempt at skiing the final day of the season, didn't work out so well I couldn't hammer and I'm not much of a hang back and be mellow kinda skier so with jumping outa the question and no cliffs or steep and deep I called it... Or so I thought. Ran into a friend of the lady variety that is quite infatuating so I tailed behind her on some easy runs but my quad wasn't digging it so I did have to leave early... Too bad I think I may have had some horizontal cardio in the works for later if I could have stuck it out.

Woke up and squated 155 4x4 I'm pretty happy with this squating everyday it seems to get easier and easier.

Another good reason for leaving skiing early was today I did my 10k calorie challenge! I type this as I finish my last piece of pizza to make 10362 calories for today! Woot woot!
 
Woke up sicker then yesterday and have only layed on the couch and watched Netflix. At some point I've got to hit the squat rack to hit 175 4x4 and I'm suppose to do my deadlift day but don't know if I'll be able to deadlift with how I feel.

In other news I'm going to keep bulking till the end of next week and then the start of May I'll be maintaining whatever that weight is for the duration of my time off to gain strength then going to cut while on cycle for weigh ins and a vacation I'm going to be taking at the end of August now

Finally, a word I understand...bulking! Since you just came out of hibernation its the perfect time.

Ive been feeling shitty lately too. Only reason Im forcing myself to the gym is im 30 days out to this meet. Otherwise it would be netflix and scaring tourists for me too.

How's the leg? You think you be able to make twenty pound jumps right back to where you were?

No I won't be able to continue with the twenty pound jumps but for right now they still are quite light, probably going to start going up by 10lb tomorrow. I should be able to eventually work to 335 4x4 high bar then go low bar and get 365.

I'm not a big guy so I think 198-205 depending on the fed will be as big as ill ever go.
