Rodgerthat trying to pick heavy things up.

Ya everything is lining up pretty good for me to be able to come out, don't know if I want to try and drop to the 181 and hopefully take 1st or go toe to toe with rob at 198. Currently struggling to stay above 195 with all my activities and I could easily be 181 with a test tren cut. It'll be 2 months out that I'll decide.

I haven't seen anything on the gyms page for the sept one though.

Ahh come on big guy. Put a little pressure on me. You don't want me comfortable up lifting now do you. Eat that food and get that weight up.

Lighting at the new gym sucks bu worked on the baby pythons today, made sure to wear a tank top so it looks like I lift. Also did the grouse grind today, it's a "hike" using that word very loosely. It's more of a stair climb for roughly 45-90 mins on average I did it in 54mins so not too bad but when I trained for ironman I could do it in 38 so I want to get back down to around 40mins on it. Will do it once a week.

lol at that guy that said you don't look like you lift.

What's up with pushing the big red button? I don't think I've ever seen a door lock that way.

I'm just gonna put this here

I've got not a clue the gym has red buttons everywhere! There's a red button beside the dumbbell racks for if you can't rerack your weights or another one near the cardio equipment if you feel faint. It's a rec centre so it's not very hardcore I'm still looking for a gym I mesh with

Sucks being rich doesn't it?

Funny story. So I was supposed to have an iPhone 5s, but the lady, who works in a cellphone store, that sells nothing but cellphones, apparently said S5 instead of 5s when she ordered it. So I have a galaxy, and I gotta say, it's pretty cool being able to stream bootleg movies and porn to my TV

Morning workout
Cleans 135 5x3 @5RPE
front squat 185 4x6 @7RPE
Clean high pulls 185 4x4
Shrugs 225 4x8
Leg extension 90 4x16
Leg press 450 4x12

Kept the whole workout nice and easy breezy as I'll be doing my chest routine later today. This is a new workout I'm throwing in as a alternative day 1x a week to work on my front squats and full clean as I've always done just power cleans so I'm always nervous to try and catch a clean in the hole but eventually it should lead to me being able to power clean even more and be more explosive.

Stretched real good today too and I don't know if the girls were looking at me in horror or disgust that I can do the splits lol fuck em

Short sweet and to the point bear.

Now that front squat. What's your 5 rep max? Just curious to see where i stand. I'm sure your aback squat trumps mine, but I've always held a good front squat compared to guys who can out back squat me by 100+lbs

My 5 rep max for front squats is 265 - not the best but was a number I was proud of.

Wish I could tell ya but I really don't know. I don't really feel any fatigue with 185 front squats and I think the most I've ever done is 225x8 but once again I've never actually trained them or pushed it on them. Probably somewhere around 250 for a 5rm I guess? My back squat low bar 5rm is 365 for reference

See my back squat 3rm is 315.. Granted that's after about working 6-8 sets.. But still. I guess I've never trained for a true 1RM. Oh well, not my style. Nice lifts Rodger!

Have you always incorporated oly lifts into your routine? After my meet in 2 weeks I'm toning down powerlifting volume a lot and was thinking about throwing in some oly lifts. Wondering if it'll help my main 3 lifts.

I'm just worried about looking like I do CrossFit as I always rip on guys who do them LOL

I've done power cleans for a long time and have done clean and jerk and snatch in the past. Power cleans for sure help with deadlifts and a proper clean helps me with being in a squat and keeping braced and strong. Crossfit is all about most amount of reps I never do oly lifts like that, they are the most complicated lift and deserve the respect of a none fatigued individual doing them. I never do oly lifts to failure and I did 95lbs for 3 months on my clean until I ever put any more weight on the bar, doing it right is more important then adding weight or getting more reps.
