STOCK UP: Don't say you weren't warned! (US)

It's not hard to hide raws in usual goods. Chances to open and rip the teddy bear apart are small. It will not change anything. They will see a radio or a toy and look on declaration and see that is a radio or a toy that is pay the tax for and let it pass. They don't look for steroids either way. Or find a gay lube oil and on declaration is a lube do you think it will send that for testing? Be serious.
Millions of parcels enter us each day chances to open the container with raws are low, chances to destroy a toy to look inside are even lower.
Do you know how Panda send his raws with normal post that requires a invoice to show to them? It will be the same

I don't think you understand. If some toy company gets caught with contraband in their goods, no shipping company will ever transport their goods to the US again. They'll be blacklisted by the shippers. They'll lose access to the US market.

Maybe that's worth the risk for hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of fentanyl in a few kilo bricks, but what company will risk their existence to smuggle a $500/kg steroid raws?

The reason heroin or cocaine costs far more than steroids is because of the relative risk and difficulty of smuggling it in. If I have a "foolproof" method of smuggling why waste it on low value steroids?

Again, the point is you're not getting a $50 kit of oils shipped this way any more, not that "steroids will be unavailable". That's never been the argument.

Why do you think there are countries that suppliers here will not ship to? It's not an impossible task to make things hard enough it's not worth the effort at the low prices enjoyed today.

Have you seen what it's like trying to get packs from India? One day it was fine, 95%+ success rate, then bam, 4 months ago success rate dropped to under 25% and suddenly everyone's getting love letters. The "two week crackdown then it'll return to normal" turned into a month, then 2, then packs that got through started being recalled AFTER passing customs. The only successful vendors left had to relocate shipping to another country, and that won't last long now that the secret's out. Shipping from India is done.

Again, this is not about it being impossible to buy gear, but returning to market conditions that existed before this huge loophole opened that created a market where $4/vial of Test promos are common. That is, much higher prices and far less variety.

Even it's let's say how you say but it would not be. It will be as easy as it's today or how it was 1 year ago.
If it's 3X the price that is today it's still cheap. Look how much everything has increase in price but raws stayed at the same price, hgh got cheaper. Food for example it's double here don't know about US but a bottle of test is like it was 3 years ago.

For example if you take a bottle of test and half a bottle of tren a week and it's 5X the price today it will be around 300$/month. I put this example to see that even if you are a pro it would be still affordable.
Not something to worry about for some recreational users who have a job

I am not talking about shipping packs from India. I am talking about smuggling. If the point of origin is not the country which is on the "List" things go smoother and are not taxed as much. Example, Cuban cigars. If someone from Cuba sends a pack from Cuba it is looked at more closely than a pack sent from the Bahamas.

I agree with you on all the loopholes closing, but it is not because of some virtue signaling feds trying to crack down on fentanyl. Its about money. Same reason the IRS want's to scrutinize $600 transferred between Venmo.

100% money is the primary driver. Ensuring a shirt is being charged the correct tariff because it has 4 buttons instead of 3 and happening to come across fentanyl, or a machine gun "Glock switch", or steroids, is just a bonus for them.

One of the clever ones elements of the bills waiting to be passed is a new $2 "security fee" per package, which will pay for the massive expansion. of customs to enforce all this stuff, and 100% of the tariffs collected go straight to the treasury.

As it is, I can order things that cost less than $2 from Temu, and have them delivered to my door from China with free shipping.

@Ghoul
TLDR I havn't gone through all the recent posts.

When do you estimate these laws will go into effect?

I have no idea, but in my experience, policies that politicians think the electorate won't like are typically passed as soon after an election as possible. so there's as much distance between when it takes effect and the next election. Plenty of voters love their cheap Temu and Shein stuff and aren't going to be happy. (both Temu and Schein are preparing for all this by establishing US warehouses they'll stock up with traditionally shipped bulk goods, rather than sending individual orders directly to customers from China, to avoid the customs scrutiny. Just like gear vendors seem to be doing...).

They, by which I mean congress, and
CBP have been laying the groundwork for this for over a year. It's near the "flip a switch" moment.

My only purpose for bringing this to everyone's attention is that for those who find my argument convincing, they can take preventative action. by literally "stocking up" just in case, not to induce panic. There's little harm in having six months or 5 years of supplies "just in case". Does anybody really believe it could get even cheaper by waiting? Then if shit hits the fan, you can comfortably ride out shortages and high prices as the new AAS market establishes itself.

When it does happen, there won't be a "last call for orders". It'll just happen.

Well well well. Looks like they've got the man heading into retirement to be the fall guy for "My Temu stuff is 30% more expensive!"

Look at what's happened the morning after the election. A smart move, likely agreed to by both parties. Pin it on the guy who doesn't need votes in the future.

"Topmost priority before leaving office."

Legislation will be passed and signed into law by Biden before he leaves office.

This crackdown will be happening sooner rather than later. If you were going to stock up, now would be the time, imo.

well my pack from india finally landed today, definitely gone through, repackaged , (very poorly) and wrapped in 20' of plastic wrap , but everything was accounted for , 40 day's

I know someone who had 4 packs in transit when the crackdown began. 3 months of waiting and 4 love letters followed.
They’re definitely engaged now, 3 love letters means someone’s committed to the relationship lol. I guess they don’t keep track of who they send letters to ir they just don’t care about prosecuting.
