I can empathize on the situation with the commercial gym idiots. Among similar instances of being too loud while deadlifiting, this one punk in a "coach" shirt told my friend and I we couldn't use chalk while benching. I tried to reason with him and made it clear that I understand he has to say what he says bec of his job. He wasn't having it. I told him, "okay boss, now that we know it won't happen again." He said, "no! you have to go wash your hands right now or you can't continue working out!" This is when I lost it. I laughed hysterically for about 2 min and told him that if he would like me to wash my hands, he's going to have to fucking make me. His tough guy persona quickly faded as I approached him to make my point and a further regressed into threatening to tell the manager if I didn't wash the chalk off. I told him, "get the manager, bitch." The manger was not as confrontational or as stupid so we resolved the matter quickly. I never did see that nazi youth douche bag after that. Someone told me he quit. Good riddens. And yes, to this day I still use chalk. Fuck em.
