Weight Loss Cutting/Cycle

Just a reminder for everybody, how long did that 76 pounds take?
The first 40lbs was really fast. Maybe 6-7 weeks but then it all slowed down, 8 months total. Last 10lbs took 12 weeks. But we also put on muscle and have really developed a physique that I am proud of.

It really has been a special process for me, I cannot thank this community enough. Joined this community back in the late 90s so I have been here for a long time and this community has really helped me rediscover a deep passion for training and fitness. As well this community has helped me leap ahead in my progress with advice and ultimately introducing me to my coach Type-llx. Thank you: @malfeasance, @Shivathedestroyer,
@Disarmer, @Millard, @ShredSeason, @DECLAN, @Fattyone @Smashshit, @PCTAccount, @dirthand @Type-IIx. I am sure I have missed people, just know that I appreciate you.

Hell yeah brother that’s what it’s all about! That back lat spread is looking good, keep up the hard work.

@Scruf dude you are killing it. You have definitely been a positive influence on me. I really appreciate the the back and forth and your honest opinions/advice. You take the time to give back and that's just as cool as your progress! Keep up the good work.

You're making us all proud brother. It's not easy to do what you're doing. Simple in concepts bit bit easy in practice. You deserve huge recognition for your accomplishments

You’ve inspired me so much man, training hard now, loved reading through your log. Can’t wait to read about your contest prep, you’re killing it man. Thank you for taking the time to document all this.

The re-comp is real! I did not think that recomposition was possible. My understanding of dieting and bodybuilding hinged on a strong belief that losing weight and contest preparation always meant losing muscle.

I am so very pleased to report that over the past 12 weeks I have successfully lost 16 lbs of fat and gained 7.4 lbs of muscle. My body fat percentage went from 17.8% to 10.4%... I cannot be more happy with the results and I sincerely owe a major thank you to @Type-IIx . His training, diet, and PED protocols have been mind-Blowing. His attention to detail and precision is uncanny. I have nothing to gain from posting about him, I am only saying this because I believe that he is a truly special coach and that I feel very lucky to work with him.

Attached to this post is the historical summary from the two Dexa scans that i have had.

Cheers

Proud of your result, Scruff. Always a pleasure to work with someone as focused & coachable as you, these are good results. We need to get you to a FFMI > 26.5%, our next objective. Your current FFMI of 25.25% is close, but not mind-boggling to me. Let's buckle down for this coming bulk, work with heavier loads mostly, and recalibrate the protocol and meal structures. You have what it takes, let's get you there.

Thank you coach! I am ready for the next phase. Super excited!!

Amazing log dude, and the results are phenomenal.

I'm gearing up for my next cut here soon (pun intended), and found this very inspirational.

Great progress, that's inspiring.

I could never last 9 weeks on 1200 cal. My wife would divorce me i would get fired from my job my boys would wana hang out with me lol.

Ur coach had u on the most severe cut I've seen or heard of for a man. I also lost 50 pounds slow and steady took about a year, I was 290ish now I'm 240ish but I did it so slow so my skin tightened up decently an no strech Marks. It's not healthy to lose over 2 pounds a week hopefully they had u keeping a eye on ur kidney's.
