What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

Happy Fathers Day to all of the dads out there and on meso..

I dropped a little weight...my early morning cardio starts to pay off,(start to see my abs)I think it's due to my diet at least for 60% ;-)
My dinner:6oz halibut with 1/2potato(curry,hot pepper and little coconut milk) :-)
I read the benefits of curry a couple weeks ago,if you're interested let me know and I'll make a quick post..

Always interested in diet info Gman - tell us more . Havent had Halibut in years , since my Alaska days.....

Standard 4 eggs & ham scrambled & green chile sauce this morning . Its my "go to" for breakfast .
I did my last carb-up last Monday so I'm planning a carb-up today , not to big but enough to fill my muscle glycogen reserves , Im drained my brothers ....~Ogh
 
That Halibut does sound good, love some yellow curry. I'm beginning to learn diet is probably more than 60% of it. Someone said awhile back that, "abs are made in the kitchen", I like that.

I'm hanging tight but I'm starting to feel energy levels dropping as well, my strength is there but I don't have the endurance lately. Some of it may be stress related though and my sleep has been interrupted the last few days. You can only burn the wick at both ends for so long...
What does your diet look like in a day when you are carb cycling OGH?
 
Any of you guys here a fan of Organ meats? I'm talking mostly liver or beef heart, they can be had for very cheap relative to the price of other meats and the taste is amazing if you cook them properly or BBQ them, simple and easy to do. I usually have it with white rice, maybe 3-4 meals like that a day whenever I have it.

It has become a staple of my diet and the nutritional info on both liver and beef heart looks great too, so I'm really wondering why I don't see more guys using it, given how cheap it is compared to other red meat.
 
I remember reading about the old time BB"s use to eat beef heart , live off of it and eggs & oatmeal & rice . That was it and got huge . I need a new pressure cooker , its great with tougher cuts like beef heart ....Go for it Chin-up ! ~Ogh


Ooops - almost forgot , had 14 oz NY steak tonight w/salad & 1/2 cup oatmeal .
Protein cookies tonight -Im carbing up after some night squats ;)

I've never tried pressure cooking beef heart actually, I'll have to try it that way sometime. I always marinate them in lemon juice and onions and grill them on a BBQ, very tender and they taste great this way. It really is a great tasting meat for how cheap it is when it's BBQ'd.

Im not sayin what I barter with....lol :rolleyes:

Carb cycling is hit & miss with me , somedays Im into it , somedays not . After several days or a week of low carbs I'll carb load . the next day its low carbs again .....still experimenting with carb cycling. ~Ogh

You only feel bloated when you overeat . Don't overeat . Eat more smaller meals . Even when you bulk , you should increase how many meals you have , don't have gorge meals . Thats what gets me fat everytime . And if you have read my old posts you know I was 242lbs @5'5" at one time , and it wasnt muscle. ~Ogh
 
I agree with you ogh when i eat a small salad everything's fine but sometimes even a regular meal gets me like that.

I think it might be the cereals,rice etc..
I'm gonna try without for a few days(shame it's a part that I like in my meals)

Ps:sorry if my English is not so good but I spend my time In between France and Vancouver so it's not really easy sometimes ;) G

tilapia/eggwhites/hot pepper relish lunch and afternoon meals
lean ground chx and grilled onions, collards and white vinegar tonight
