What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

Hahah man I've been on the opposite of Keto lately. Been out of town and trying my best but failing to eat well. This all changes this evening.

Good job to everyone who has stayed strong and on point
 
My Keto-dieting adventures ends today , damn near got crushed yesterday trying to bench a weight Im quite familar with . The strength wasnt there . I mean totally gone , so thats it . I value my strength as much as my looks and I cant handle physical weakness in myself . I'll be squatting today to further drain my glycogen reserves then its carb-up time .ALL day. The diet ends today . ~Ogh



So heres how it went down , I did 8 sets of progressive squats followed 8 sets of incline bench followed by 8 sets of heavy dumbbell presses , rested 20 minutes then ate 10oz of Honey-nut Cheerio's with 2 scoops Syntha-6 & milk . First carbs in 6 days . Starting to feel sleepy already . Headrushes ,lol. Carb High .....~Ogh


Tomorrow will be low/med carbs , and high cardio ....
 
I was on a streak for about 6 weeks.
No cheating, hitting my macro's and running stairs 5x ed and I dropped from about 18-ish to 15 maybe less.
Then last Friday I went nuts!
I was exhausted after a rough week at work and overdoing it at the gym and it hit my all at once, SUGAR!

Long story short, I had a pint of Ben&Jerry's and 6 waffles covered in syrup for dinner. Then to make it worse I fell right to sleep.
Funny thing is when I woke up I glanced in the mirror as I walked by and I looked absolutely shredded!
Weird huh?
I would think this all that sugar would have had me bloated right up but was nice and tight. The ol'lady even made a comment about it.
Now if I can keep it up and get down to 10% (wishful thinking) I'll be good and primed for my upcoming cycle.

Your muscles were depleted of glycogen Pittbox - then you ate carbs and they filled out . Happens to me all the time . There will be a couple days right after I carb-up that I looking my best , bitchin - then I overeat and they cover back up ,lol. ~Ogh

The glycogen depletion did cross my mind. I think if im that depleted im gonna see if I can get away with bumping the carbs up 100g this week.
As long as im still dropping bf.

Well , Im at a crossroads , again . The keto didnt cut it , so its back to carb/cal cycling again for me , the good news is my neighbor Bob has lost 7 lbs on the keto and wants to continue , I said sure but today is your carb-up , actually tonight is , he dont need a full carb-up day .

I will change him back over to carb cycling when he gets burned out on the keto ....which should be any day now. (this guy hasnt been under 3000cal since birth , so this is a whole different experience for him) I got him on 2000cal/day right now ......

This morning its 3 eggs/ham/oatmeal + coffee ~Ogh
