Post your body weight and flat bench PR.. just curious, let's shoot the shit. What cycle were you running with your strongest bench PR? What was your diet and training looking like?

220lb and finally up to 305lb for reps on flat. Haven't tried any bench PR's yet due to old shoulder injuries I don't want to risk resurrecting.

3500 cals, maintenance, clean as I can keep them. Training was going great, then moved into a new house and am still working on getting the old one sold, so now it's pretty fucked.

I haven't maxed yet. I have powerlifting meet in September.

Weight 212:

Bench Paused like in competition: 375 1x3

Calories 5000-6000

Cycle:
Test E 2grams Weeks Entire cycle
Deca 600 Weeks 1-15/now running it at 300mgs
EQ 900 Dropped EQ at week 16
Tren E 1gram Dropped at week 15 Will use tren ace to finish the last 3 weeks leading into the meet. I need to get back up to 220. I will also add drol back in after next week to finish off as well.

From end of June to end Of July had a hard time maintaining diet while my kids were visiting. Back on track now.

Dick measuring contest lol, but I'll bite

At 205 I hit 315 x 5 during my last cycle, age 42. Nothing at all to brag about imho. But great for me.
Now off cycle, I'm 195 and be damned if I didn't hurt my elbow now with residual tendinitis. So been screwin around with higher reps on 225. Want to hit 365 x 3 during my next bulk and long term shooting for 405 x2 ideally not weighing more than 210 when the dust settles.

Long term (3 yrs) shooting for 400 bench, 500 squat, 600 dl, or something thereabouts. I've never run dbol, adrol or sdrol or tren. I'm hoping for good things if/when I do

No idea about my 1RM flatbench, I've done 205lbs for at least 12 reps, actually at the end of a 6x10 program.

Switched to doing standing and flat one arm presses, as well as inverted kettlebell presses.

One hand OH press the 53lb KB inverted 10 times with my weak hand.
One hand OH press 75lb DBs for 10 reps.

I feel my shoulders enjoy this type of work MUCH more.

187lbs and 53 yrs old.

Been hanging around 225-265lbs for reps and hit 295 for 3 while on cycle over the last winter. I might be able to nail 315lbs for reps next cycle I am starting soon. Bad thing is I have an old shoulder injury I don't want to resurrect as well.

31 yrs old and 2 months ago in PL meet in 181lb class I put up 400lb... Was running 1 g of test, 100ED fina, 100ED anadrol

Did a 5X5 with 315 last week, only currently on 500mg test and 40mg dbol. Just started to hammer some more compounds due to comp in sept.

33 years old and 218lbs. Hit 405lbs for 1 rep a few months ago and 375x3. At the time I was running 300mg/week of test cyp and 40mg ED of Anavar. Diet I believe was around 5500 calories a day. Training wise I was doing 5x5 Slingshot bench on Tuesday, Thursday I'd do competition bench rotating volume, intensity and speed week to week with standing one arm dumbbell press after and then high rep bodyweight dips on Sunday.

Most I did was while on cycle (600 test 300 deca) back in November when I was getting ready for a meet. I was 210ish lbs and did 365 pretty easy a week out. (Got the flu and didn't compete)

Right now I'm natty and cut some weight. I'm about 190lbs and after a good 5 month lay off from strength training I just out up 345 on friday.

bout the same age - 54 here - but I'm a bit heavier, right under 220 now.

I strongly recommend trying standing inverted kettlebell presses - and standing DB presses - I feel like those have truly rejuvenated my right shoulder. Previously it was always a set or two in (when doing flat BB work) before the pain went away - now there's no pain.

I'm actually refocusing my lifting goals on going after old-school (as in 19th century old-school) one arm OH presses instead. Let's see of I can get to clean pressing 100lbs with DBs and perhaps 75lbs with inverted KBs (because they're a bitch!). Supposedly clean pressing a 100lb DB (one arm overhead) is a "classic" measure of being strong. I know, a load of BS, but it feels like I can get there. I think if/when I reach that stage, then my shoulders will be all-around strong enough to handle flat bench work again.

I like the standing one arm dumbbell presses, too. Was doing them every week when I first benched 405lbs. I think my best was a 100lb dumbbell for either 5 or 7.

Benched 405 for 3 in the past 12 months. I thought I would get 4. I am steady at between 215 and 220 but only 5' 4 1/2" and approaching 50. Well, the military says I was 5'5" so there's that... *Cough*

I am on TRT, 220 per week, but that's about it. Just very blessed genetically I guess. Back when I was young and healthy I did stuff and got big (Test and Anadrol once, Test, Winstrol etc... the other times), then I shrunk down to get into the military. Now, as a crip older Vet, I am on TRT and for the first time ever eating sufficient protein on a Keto diet to stave off Diabetes.

The proverbial brick shithouse - wow, 220 at less than 5' 5" - what? Unless you're high BF, you did mention trying to stave off diabetes? Stay off the fast carbs and you'll be fine, I hope, but you know this already.

38 yrs old
305 lbs
PR's
225 X 30 full reps down to touching chest
315 X 10 same
405 X 5 same

1 rep max it's been prob 2 years but I believe it was 465. In that neighborhood anyway. These days I try to stay away from heavy flats.

I like incline dumb bells. This is my usual incline workout.
65. X 20
75 X 20
85. X 20
95. X 20
110. X 20

Edit forgot: last cycle 2 yrs ago 750 test e for 10 weeks ..Been on TRT for over a year 200mg a week.
Gathering stuff to blast soon though.

Always around 15% BF Sigh....

WRT diabetes, roger on the sugars, I really hope Ill be fine. Taking glucose levels and shooting insulin all day long cannot be too enjoyable.
