Who is our biggest, most shredded member at Meso?

Thanks so much. You have a lot a knowledge. I want to learn so much more about the sport. I appreciate the kind words too. I am very hard on myself and haven't always had the highest self esteem probably like a lot of bodybuilders it's why we find the gym as our home.

We're all in the same boat man. Hundreds of pounds of physical awesomeness with the insecurity of a damn 13 yo school girl at her first pool party in a bathing suit LOL. It's that questioning/critiquing of your progress that keeps us moving forward and improving.

The advice I give the most to guys that compete is always look at yourself from the judges eyes. Know the judging criteria. Then train to win shows. Don't get caught up in the weight lifted, being the biggest in the gym, keep pushing for max growth on an already dominate body part, trying to look a certain way year round unless it's going to help you win shows.

Speak for yourself man
I said id be damned if i ever let BB make me a insecure vain cunt. I like lifting whether it be lifting for numbers or lifting for size. I fucking love it! Up at 0300 everyday to pay my damn dues. IDGAF about how my "abs" are poppin or what i look like in the mirror in front of the dumbbell rack. Im just glad i get to eat like a pig and use that as an excuse to gain muscle. Seriously, it tickles me pink. Livin a dream.

Nothing wrong with that bro. That would be why there are hundreds of big guys in the audience watching the shows and only a handful up there on stage. You really have to be a glutton for punishment, totally full of yourself or in some sad cases clueless.

It's no secret why everyone loves "bulking" or "off season" LOL. I've often said I chose the wrong sport to be in due to my love of junk food and fast food. Thank god for HGH, DNP and T3. :D I love nothing more than being big, full, totally carbed up and lifting stupid heavy weights. Been doing it a long time and don't plan on stopping.

I will say this, there is very little that compares to winning the overall in a big show with hundreds in attendance. It's rush beyond belief to be there and the crowd is going nuts while you stand there alone hitting your poses for pictures and trophy presentation. Literally the closest you can get to feeling like a rock star on a small scale IMO.

The real reason i dont ultimately care to step on a stage is this

Its subjective

Its not as clear cut as say a UFC match where one dude swallows teeth and one dude with his hand raised. Its up to other people to decide your fate.

These IFBB guys its gotta be the worst. You can ask 1000 different ppl who "looked" the best and you will get 1000 different answers.

Absolutely could not agree more. Politics, buddy system, who sucked who's dick are all part of that subjectivity and it blows but it's all we got. I don't blame anyone for not wanting to spend the time, money and effort only to have some guy that's better known or trains at one of the judges gym or some crap get the nod. Happens all the time from pro down to local shows.

Now days you can do pretty well having never won a damn thing because everyone know that's the case too. Sad.

Do you really think its sad? If i said the name Dwayne Johnson, what would you say? Or, Ultimate Warrior, or idk u pick...
Sylvester Stallone
Terry Cruze
Etc etc

We all recognize they have built some thing excellent. Does a placement on a podium make any difference? Especially to the masses? It doesnt...most dont care. In the end were all in the process of doing some thing we all love. But when some thing you love is full of fake muscles justified as REAL(synthol), thongs and spray tan. What is left to love?

Oh yeah, the training, process and dedication.

I think you misunderstood that last statement. It was ONLY in reference to the competitive physique world. In other words, you don't have to win a show to make a good living in the industry because everyone knows the best guy doesn't always win. That's the sad part. Everyone just sort of accepts it and works around it in the industry today.

It does make one question the point of competing at times but some people just like to try and get a win in their chosen sport.

Shit, I'd take looking awesome and acting or something like that without stepping on stage but I'm not pretty, can't sing or dance and I generally dislike most people (probably the tren :D) so that' out of my wheel house.
